SDCC '12: New Cinematic Trailer For AVENGERS: BATTLE FOR EARTH

Originally screening at Comic-Con this weekend, a cool new trailer for Ubisoft's upcoming Marvel video game has been released. Featuring The Avengers taking on Dr. Doom and Super Skrull as well as revealing The Skrulls, check it out after the jump.

Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth is the ultimate superhero brawler. It features 20 different characters, including Avengers such as Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and Thor, as well as other fan-favorite Super Heroes and Super Villains from the Marvel Universe. Players will use motion gameplay to execute explosive super attacks, unleash devastating special moves and play with friends or against the AI in a wide variety of game modes.




Avengers: Battle For Earth will be available for Xbox 360 later this year.

@Nomis - My thoughts exactly. It would be really awesome if they could use that type of animation for future Marvel/DC animated films. :)

Yea agreed they should use this stuff to make full movies... those sections from the first Ultimate Alliance games (Doom and nightcrawler especially) were fantastic

Captain America: Super Soldier (2011) wasn't that bad but still a movie based game, and Amazing Spider-man has revived hope for a good sequel to match the level of awesomeness as the Arkham games. Let's hope for an actual good Avengers game in the future.

@dnno1 I noticed that three point landing too. Imagine if Superman landed like that, Metropolis would be a pile of rubble!

Looks nice, but I want The Black Panther!! I hope he's a playable character, cuz if not I doubt I'll be gettin this game unless it's just THAT EXCLUSIVE..

No comic book related video game trailer will be good as the 6 minute one for DC universe online. It was amazing. Hated the game, love the trailer

It'd be awesome of they made an Avengers game in the multiplayer style of GOD OF WAR: ASCENSION but as a story mode.
