Walton Goggins On His Role In G.I. JOE: RETALIATION

Django Unchained actor Walton Goggins discusses his role as Warden Nigel James in the G.I. Joe sequel, revealing that he has seen the movie and that he will be one of the film's comic reliefs.

Speaking with I Am Rogue while promoting Django Unchained, actor Walton Goggins talks about his role in Paramount's upcoming 3D sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation. He plays 'Warden Nigel James' in the Jon Chu-directed action film, and when asked what we can expect from the role, Goggins says his character will be "funny". He also reveals some new details on the role, confirming that he will be one of the film's comic reliefs and that he has seen the movie. "I'm one of the comic reliefs, yeah, absolutely. He's got some really good one-liners and we were able to go off script a little bit and improvise some stuff with director Jon Chu. It's just a visual extravaganza, it's so much fun, and it's a really good movie. I've seen it and I'm really excited for it to come out." G.I. Joe: Retaliation stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum, Adrianne Palicki, D.J. Cotrona, Ray Stevenson, Byung-hun Lee and Ray Park. The film is set to hit theaters March 29th, 2013.

Goggins is a great actor, he shoulda had a bigger role in this.

One of these days this bloke is going to be a Oscar nominated actor if not a winner.
He's got a unique quirk about him that all one filmmaker has to do is plug him in and BAM, instant cool...maybe. LOL

He's a good actor, so this could be cool.

@stanisloski WOW! That's probably one of the worst landings of a fighter jet I've ever seen!

He came in too fast and lifted the nose up too much. He was actually straightened enough before he titled the nose up more.

Disturbing. Also, very awesome. Goggins is beast! He was my favourite part of Predators, and i really liked that movie as a whole.
