Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and The Paley Center for Media proudly present the World Premiere of Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite, an all-new film from TT Animation based on its popular video game. The film will have its World Premiere in New York on February 11, 2013, with filmmakers and members of the voice cast in attendance for red carpet media interviews and a post-screening panel discussion.

Media interviews will begin at 5:15 p.m. and the screening will commence at 6:30 p.m. Following the screening, cast and filmmakers will discuss the movie – led by TT Animation’s award-winning director/producer Jon Burton, and renowned videogame/animation actors Troy Baker (Bioshock Infinite, Batman: Arkham City) as Batman and Travis Willingham (Avengers Assemble, The Super Hero Squad Show) as Superman. Additional panelists will be announced as confirmed.

Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite Unite provides the ultimate blend of action and humor guaranteed to entertain fanboys of all ages. The film finds Lex Luthor taking jealousy to new heights when fellow billionaire Bruce Wayne wins the Man of the Year Award. To top Wayne’s accomplishment, Lex begins a campaign for President – and to create the atmosphere for his type of fear-based politics, he recruits the Joker to perfect a Black LEGO Destructor Ray. While wreaking havoc on Gotham, Lex successfully destroys Batman’s technology – forcing the Caped Crusader to reluctantly turn to Superman for help.

Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite features the definitive voice of Lex Luthor, Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption, SpongeBob SquarePants). In addition to Baker and Willingham, the cast includes Christopher Smith (Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe) as the Joker, and Charlie Schlatter (Diagnosis Murder) in a hilarious turn as the voice of Robin.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has set May 21, 2013 as its release date for Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite on Blu-ray and DVD.

Oh, Batman, do you have to be in another straight-to-DVD film? Aren't there any dead people you should be bringing back to life? Or bodies of water to walk on? Or turning water into wine?
TimL - 1/31/2013, 3:31 PM
So it basically consists of LEGO Batman 2 cutscenes cut together?

@batman27

Did you seriously compare batman to ironman as in over saturation?
marvel72 - 1/31/2013, 3:57 PM
@ batman27

i haven't got a problem with batman's popularity i read batman(snyder)each month.what i have got a problem with is every movie,dvd,animated show & video game is batman.

is batman the only character dc/warner are willing to take chances with in movies or animation.

i suppose if ain't batman its gonna be superman.
CaptainObvious - 1/31/2013, 4:03 PM
@Batman27- Iron Man doesn't suffer from the overexposure of Batman. WB treats Batman like a king. I'm sure the WB executives would take a bullet for Batman.
FirstAvenger - 1/31/2013, 4:07 PM
@Batman27 marvel makes Captain America, Hulk, Thor, guardians of the galaxy, Ant-Man and Dr Strange while WB only makes Batman and Superman.
Koala0226 - 1/31/2013, 4:08 PM
You can just get the video game and play it...Seems like the exact same thing.
batesmotel - 1/31/2013, 4:15 PM

@thefirstavengers, marvel hasnt made half those movies YET. dont be hasty master took. and they're only doing those because linking all the movies forces B-listers on us. not that its a bad thing.
wildstar13 - 1/31/2013, 5:17 PM
More batman? what's next WB, animated batman vs lego batman movie?
FirstAvenger - 1/31/2013, 5:25 PM
@Anothersinsterclone all I'm saying is they aren't over doing iron man compared to Batman. All of those movies have been confirmed.
007michael - 1/31/2013, 5:29 PM
This is as close to a JLA movie DC can do. :P haha

In all seriousness, I really enjoy the games, so I may just pick this up. :)
BlueDemon - 1/31/2013, 5:43 PM
Robin needs his own movie
unknownfacts - 1/31/2013, 6:07 PM
Lego Batman will more then likely feature the other DC heroes and will defenitly feature Superman. So calm down everybody he just has top billing.

They must be raking in the cash from toy sells because his comic books aren't for little kids.
