Speaking with Coming Soon, Wreck-It Ralph director Rich Moore talks a little more about a possible sequel. Considering that Disney's animated video game film earned rave reviews, grossed nearly $380M worldwide, and is up for Best Animated Feature at the Academy Awards, a follow-up is rather inevitable. Moore previously expressed his interest in including Nintendo's Mario in the next film, and now, he reveals another character that he'd like to showcase: Tron, who was actually planned to have a cameo in the first movie. "I can't specifically remember why that didn't happen," says Moore. "...Of course, with a sequel, I'm hoping that we can find a way to see Tron himself in that movie." Played by Bruce Boxleitner in 1982's TRON and 2010's TRON: Legacy, the character is also featured in Disney XD's animated series TRON: Uprising. Would you like to see Tron in a Wreck-It Ralph sequel? You can check out Wreck-It Ralph on Blu-Ray and DVD March 5th.
