VIDEO GAMES: Activision Announces TMNT: OUT OF THE SHADOWS For This Summer

Activision's first game based on Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series has been confirmed for a release this summer. Hit the jump to check out the trailer and more details for Out Of The Shadows.

We recently heard that Activision and Nickelodeon will be teaming up for a slew of video games based on the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, and thanks to Digital Spy, we have one title set for a debut this summer. Titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows, this downloadable title is described as a third-person brawler featuring "hyper-realistic 3D-style", "true-to-life" environments, and a combo-driven battle system. The game, developed by Red Fly Studio (Thor: God Of Thunder), will be available for Xbox Live Arcade, PSN and Steam. Below is a trailer for the game. Seems pretty cool, but i would rather have a retail PS3/PS4 game from Rocksteady, guess that's out of the question...

all i want is a classic turtles arcade beat em up style game, Turtles in time was my christmas wishlist for super nes as a kid. still want it til this day.

Thor for Wii is actually pretty good, actually all of the Thor games aren't that bad with the exception of the PS360 versions. This time also put together Ghostbusters for Wii, which was also solid.

I'll play it but its a bit suspecious that they dont LOOK like the NICKeloDeon Turtles... They have nostrils and edgy faces, is that a previously scrapped game for M.Bay's Movie?

so i guess that means rocksteady will NOT be making a ninja turtles game...cuz i read on here a while ago they were thinking of doing a turtle game after arkham city....
so i guess and i hope we will get a new batman game...
but good for turtles

Actucally it looked like shit and Activision needs to give up on SuperHero games. This game need a Co-op x4 stealth game play. To Juice it up even more, grab Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono and have him create a VS to go along with the game. Game will sale out like crazy!
