Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

The Wolverine stars Hugh Jackman, Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tao Okamoto and Svetlana Khodchenkova. The film is set to hit theaters July 26th.

the set looks too fake. Too clean to feel 'real', in my opinion. but we'll havte to wait for the teaser trailer to see if it will look real or not

The scene does look rather perfect. Lawn and bushes cut perfectly. Like Japanese mayberry.

Good scoop nonetheless. ;)

8. The Lone Ranger
7. Pacific Rim
6. World War Z
5. Star Trek Into Darkness
4. Thor: The Dark World

Love the Asian setting.
imadick - 3/16/2013, 11:20 AM
this film looks pretty great.
JayOh - 3/16/2013, 11:35 AM
The lack of a trailer may be a cause for concern or it could be a good sign of theatric perfectionism.
dezdigi - 3/16/2013, 11:48 AM
Isn't it way past time for that trailer. We've already seen two from IM3 and two from MOS. Pretty soon we'll get a Thor trailer and still no Wolverine.
Tony93 - 3/16/2013, 12:35 PM
they are still filming with 4 months away?!
DocDrop - 3/16/2013, 12:41 PM
@SuperGuy are you sure you want to admitt publicly that you want to see The Lone Ranger? That has crap written all over.
PaulRom - 3/16/2013, 1:32 PM
No, they're not filming anymore. Mangold is just tweeting pics from when it was under production.
Tainted87 - 3/16/2013, 7:30 PM
Not to knock on James Mangold (because really, without looking his name up, I can't think of a single movie of his I've seen), but the perfect Wolverine movie would be the one directed by Park Chan-Wook.

Except he'd probably turn Logan into a vampire.
