Godzilla-Movies and YVRShoots have posted the following set photos (which will likely be the first of many) from the set of Legendary Pictures' Godzilla 3D reboot, which began production in British Columbia yesterday. As you can see, the first image features a military helicopter which has clearly seen better days after an encounter with the iconic monster. The others show what look to be an airport terminal in Japan. Additionally, Legendary posted the following video on their Facebook page with a greeting from director Gareth Edwards. Stay tuned to CBM for more news as we have it.
Godzilla stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The film is set to hit theaters May 16th, 2014.
