NINJA TURTLES Reboot Casts Its Leonardo, Donatello And Michaelangelo

Last week, we reported that Alan Ritchson (Smallville, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) was cast as Raphael in Paramount Pictures' planned reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, which will be produced by Michael Bay (Transformers) and directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath Of The Titans). Now, thanks to Deadline, we now know who will be playing the rest of the Turtles. Pete Ploszek (Parks And Recreation, Shameless) will play Leonardo, Jeremy Howard (Galaxy Quest) is set for Donatello, and Noel Fisher (who previously worked with Liebesman on Battle: Los Angeles) is Michaelangelo. Megan Fox will play April O'Neil, and the site adds that the studio is hoping to cast an actor for the villainous Shredder soon. Unlike the original movies, the new Ninja Turtles will be motion captured a la Avatar, which will give them better exposure as Paramount hopes for the film to launch a new series. With production expected to begin next month, Ninja Turtles is set to hit theaters June 6th, 2014. What do you think of this casting?

cool I guess don't have much faith in the project but I hope what ever god, overload, or being is up there produces a miracle and this movie doesn't [frick] up the turtles as badly as the transformers movie (although I enjoy the first one quiet a bit)

Of course they dont look like turtle they are voice actors back when the original 1980s movies were made they haf one guy in a suit three working the face and one voice actor for one turtle dont be idiots the guys are just doing the voices. Just like Corey Feldman did donatello in the previous movies. You call yourselves fanboys , people raping childhoods. Do some research then open your pieholes, or better yet pizza holes.

by the way: Fisher should play Raphael, not Mickey.
Still remember him from RED (with Brian Cox). He nailed that role.
(great bond with Seizemore who was playing his dad)

@Mak2018 You dont know that their likeness's won't be used for the cgi characters. I agree people are flippin out because look how well they use Cerkis in his characters. But the raping of chilchood is a proven characteristic of Michael Bay. That you cannot deny.
