No one can save this franchise.

Give the Franchise to Nolan and start with TRANSFORMERS BEGINS.

There are pleenty of people who love bad movies. Transformers, GI Joe, The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man, so Transformers 4 will do about 800 million World Wide.

@1geekygurl, by bad movies, do you just mean your opinion of the movies? Or is it a fact that those movies you listed are bad? References? Link?
Manogeek
Manogeek - 4/26/2013, 2:48 PM
Plus you got all the fans who will go to see it even though they know it's not going to do their favorite comic/cartoon any justice. They just go so they have fuel to bash it up and down.
It's like stopping to stare at a car wreck.

@1geekygurl Not sure if id agree those are 'bad' movies. I think 'disappointing' is more accurate. obviously just my opinion though.
AsianVersionOfET
AsianVersionOfET - 4/26/2013, 2:51 PM
Or just personal opinion?
AsianVersionOfET
AsianVersionOfET - 4/26/2013, 2:52 PM
@Cass808, thanks for saying that's your opinion, which you're completely entitled to. Now if these other two could do the same as you, I'd be less confused...

@Mercwitham0uth, great! Finally someone clears this whole thing up! Now if you could just provide me a link to a webpage or something of that nature, proving they're "horrible", that'd be great.
Manogeek
Manogeek - 4/26/2013, 2:57 PM
Can you prove they weren't horrible?
AsianVersionOfET
AsianVersionOfET - 4/26/2013, 2:57 PM
Since none of you are providing me with anything, I did some digging myself and came up with this. Interesting...

@Manogeek, I'm not the one that came into this thread calling certain movies "bad", so I don't have to prove anything to anyone (even though I took the liberty of doing so for one of those movies geekygurl listed, you're welcome.)
AsianVersionOfET
AsianVersionOfET - 4/26/2013, 3:01 PM
By the way, it's totally fine to call a movie bad, as long as that's your opinion. If you're calling a movie bad and stating it as fact, then there's gonna' be some problems unless you can prove it.
AsianVersionOfET
AsianVersionOfET - 4/26/2013, 3:05 PM
@Mercwitham0uth, actually an 8.6 user rating and 78 Metascore on IMDb is substantially good. Here's a link to a terrible movie though (again, you're all welcome.)

@Mercwitham0uth, so everything with a score from 4.4, 32/100 to an 8.6, 78/100 is a terrible movie?
Manogeek
Manogeek - 4/26/2013, 3:15 PM
Well I think that they were all sh*tty. None of those movies lived up to what they should have been. Rises was Anti-climatic and 50-million plot-holes, Transformers was made more for merchandising and G.I. Joe had horrible acting and bad plot development (I actually like Amazing Spider-Man.) and that's my opinion and now I feel as though I proved it just as much as you proved yours.

Just because some troll calls one of the most highly praised and biggest money makers of 2012 (dark knight rises) a bad movie doesnt make it true. Check it out I can do the same thing: There are plenty of bad movies ppl love, Avengers, Spider-man 2, Iron Man. So dont take trolls seriously. They usually have no idea what they are talking about.

@Manogeek See you got some Nolanite-hate. But yeah I'd call TDKR a bad movie. Whats good about it? A Bumbling loser Batman? A Speak And Spell Bane? The Magic Knee Brace? The Healing Back punch? The Amazing teleportation powers of Bruce Wayne?
The movie was a total letdown and a boring audition and plea by Nolan to the academy for an Oscar.

Of the 4 films I listed only TDKR failed to be what it wanted to be. Transformers and Joe were exactly what the film makers wanted. ASM was as well.

But TDKR failed in story, adapting Batman, action, entertainment and it had plotholes so big they could be eventually become Black Holes and suck the whole planet inside. But I think the Nolanites would love to live in Nolan's Black Hole!

Again, with the TDKR hate.

I swear, the people who don't like it ARE OFFENDED people do like it.

Just [frick]ing let it go.

@AsianVersionOfET is not mandatory to put "IMO" in every opinion. one speaks his mind, and its his opinion. its still his opinion even if he says its a fact. so... there

TDKR was bad, btw when a majority have the same OPINION, one mightlisten to a majority of ppl that say the same thing. and who cares what imdb says or any critics for that matter? Those are opinions too ya know :) now to get back on topic for once, transformers is a lost cause, I heard optimus and such are taking a backseat to new bots? Yuck

bobevanz - 4/26/2013, 4:20 PM
Lol as soon as someone insults TDKR wonderer appears. Its like your batsignal to show up. What is this thread even about again?
PartyKiller
PartyKiller - 4/26/2013, 4:21 PM
Hate has nothing to do with the realization that a film heralded by some as great is really a terrible film.
A year ago I was convinced I was in for an epic film with TDKR. I was there on opening night. I got epic silence. Epic boredom. Epic letdown. And there was not a sound in the theater, not even a mouse! Silent for 2hrs 45 mins as the whole theater sat and watched the boring Embalmed letdown.

If people like it thats there problem.
