Bryan Singer Teases Potential X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Plot Point In BTS Image

Bryan Singer has been active on Twitter ever since he began production on X-Men: Days Of Future Past two months ago. In today's tweet, he posted the following behind-the-scenes image. It appears to be a set-up for a speech from the US President (Richard M. Nixon?), and the speech addresses an incident in Paris as well as facing "the gravest threat in our history". Could this be an attack from Magneto and his Brotherhood? Check out the image below, and speculate in the usual place.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore. The film is set to hit theaters July 18th, 2014.

DukeAcureds - 6/18/2013, 2:00 PM
Political assasination?
I hope they're not doing the Senator Kelly thing, like in the original Days of Future Past, because they basicaly dealt with that plot point in the first one, with the brotherhood kidnapping him and kinda killing him, only to replace him with Mystique (so that it didn't go all Days of Future Past).
ForMeToPoopOn - 6/18/2013, 2:03 PM
SPOILER ALERT!

The movie will end with Mystique waking-up at home, then walking into the bathroom. There she will find Bobby taking a shower -- alive. It is then that she realizes that all of the movies were a dream.

FIN

With the green screen, it looks like the unveiling of the sentinels
Jollem - 6/18/2013, 2:05 PM
MrCBM56 - 6/18/2013, 2:07 PM
I'm guessing after this the government approach Bolivar Trask, (Peter Dinklage), for a way to exterminate Mutants. That's when SETINALS comes in. So in the future Sentinals basically control the mutants so kitty pride goes in the past to stop the incident that happes in Paris.

Holy shit! I actually think Im close to whats going on.

No, it's probably going to be the White House. Look at the ground, it looks like grass.
gamecreatorjj - 6/18/2013, 2:10 PM
@MrCBM
good point, and also I don't think it'll be kitty going back in time, i think it'll be wolverine
mrHJK - 6/18/2013, 2:11 PM
Nobody goes back in time
MrMartinMarvel - 6/18/2013, 2:12 PM
Seriously? If you dislike the MCU that's one thing, but why the [frick] would anyone support FUX?
rebellion - 6/18/2013, 2:12 PM
@worstfanever.. i see what you did there :P
Praetorian - 6/18/2013, 2:15 PM
Wonder what happens in Paris? Probably the whole Magneto/Beast fight
Jollem - 6/18/2013, 2:15 PM
@MrMartinMarvel - i do because they have made some cbms that i mostly enjoy. simple as that
SonGoku - 6/18/2013, 2:15 PM
@MrMartinMarvel You see, there are these things called opinions.
nowtheresaBATman - 6/18/2013, 2:15 PM
Singer is such a attention whore shitweasel.
jerryblake - 6/18/2013, 2:16 PM
so basically there was some incident in Paris that revealed Mutants to the public like 30 years earlier than it was planned. Tricky Dick allows Trask to go with the Sentinels program, and hunt all the mutants down. Wonder what incident was it ? Magneto killing someone ?
AstroZombie - 6/18/2013, 2:17 PM
@WorstFanEver; You almost made me choke on my Freedom Fries.
MrMartinMarvel - 6/18/2013, 2:17 PM
@TheGreenSpeedster I know, I was simply asking what those particular opinions were.

I wouldn't even be shocked if he invented a new X-Men character & called it shitweasel. As a matter of fact he could pull a Tarantino & play the role himself.
MrMartinMarvel - 6/18/2013, 2:22 PM
@Jollem That's a perfectly legit reason, but I still don't understand how anyone think they make the definite cinematic takes on their Marvel properties.
thorhulk77 - 6/18/2013, 2:27 PM
Cool beans
Jollem - 6/18/2013, 2:27 PM
@MMM - i have never known anyone to say that fox has made the definitive take on anything. i don't think they do, and i don't think anyone has ever made the "definitive movie take" of anything. sounds like you are trying to create an invisible enemy. like this "huge scourge of nolanites" i have heard about for years but have never seen
MrMartinMarvel - 6/18/2013, 2:31 PM
@Jollem Not at all. I just meant I don't see how anyone could actually "support" FUX. As in actually say you're on "Team FOX" like WhiteandGold just did.
AmazingFantasy - 6/18/2013, 2:31 PM
" Fox= shit"
WruceBayne - 6/18/2013, 2:34 PM
I don't care if its Marvel or DC, Disney or Fox, I am a big comicbook movie fan. I just hope Bryan Singer doesn't FRICK this up. Singer is not a comicbook fan (he doesn't even want them on set or his actors drawing inspiration from them). Singer also has no concept of how to do a have decent fight scene. The characters are always just throwing one another into a wall or parked car without a single punch being thrown.
Jollem - 6/18/2013, 2:34 PM
@MMM - ah, i see. well, there are people that are "team rdjr."

i don't understand it. but hey, let 'em go crazy with it :)
deamon - 6/18/2013, 2:39 PM
Paris 1973
Paris Peace Accords - that's Magneto's target.

PS
F..k all haters.
MrMartinMarvel - 6/18/2013, 2:39 PM
@Jollem I still don't think you get what I mean, but oh well. lol
Luis75 - 6/18/2013, 2:46 PM
Has Bryan Singer ever read a X-men Comic book yet?
Jollem - 6/18/2013, 2:49 PM
@MMM - no. i get you. what's not to get? people like stuff, and sometimes they will support it despite haters. simple
JoeMomma29 - 6/18/2013, 2:50 PM
I know people hate Nolan and Snyder, but Singer is a hack! I am pretty sure that is one thing Marvelites and DC Fanboys can both agree on!
MrMartinMarvel - 6/18/2013, 2:50 PM
@Jollem That sounds about right.
