I think its only showing "building damage" I see cracks radiating from the larger "crack". Like Godzilla just swiped this building. I think that's all it is.

I liked Emmerich's Godzilla's look. I love the original, but I appreciated what they were trying to do. The thing about the American Godzilla that I disliked the most was that he/she/it was rather weak. YOU CAN'T SHOOT AND HURT GODZILLA.

I actually am very excited for this movie. I think this movie is going to be epic. With Pacific Rim coming out I realize how amazing a Godzilla movie could be if done right.

Maybe in this version he glows to better illustrate how radioactive he is. Kinda like how overheated Godzilla was in Godzilla vs Destroyah
