UPDATE: JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR Confirmed For 2014 Release; Based On "New 52" Origin Arc

It was previously reported that DC Animation's next film following Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox is titled Justice League: War. No other details were known, other than an assumed 2014 release. Now, "Super PR Guy" Gary Miereanu has confirmed this via Twitter, ahead of the official San Diego Comic-Con announcement later this week. The film is based on Geoff Johns and Jim Lee's first Justice League story arc in "The New 52", which focuses on the origins of the superhero team. It makes sense to release this right after a Flashpoint adaptation, as that story arc led to the beginning of the new continuity. Additionally, Miereanu revealed that Jason O'Mara (Terra Nova) is voicing Batman in the animated feature. No further casting or other details have been confirmed, but stay tuned to CBM for an official announcement this week straight out of Comic-Con.

UPDATE: Via World's Finest Online, we have more details for Justice League: War. Jay Oliva is directing, and other JL members have been cast. Michelle Monaghan (Source Code) is voicing Wonder Woman, Christopher Gorham (Ugly Betty) is The Flash, Alan Tudyk (Firefly) will portray Superman, Justin Kirk (Angles In America) is Green Lantern, and Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds) will voice Cyborg.
