When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.

With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

This film was the best film of the summer. It was better than MOS, and Iron-Man 3
subzero1077 - 7/18/2013, 1:19 PM
That first cover completely ruins the effect of the original poster.
jcfrommars9 - 7/18/2013, 1:29 PM
Best movie of the summer.
Mike89 - 7/18/2013, 1:32 PM
Im buying this but, why couldnt they just use the teaser poster as the cover?
Mike89 - 7/18/2013, 1:33 PM
Btw why do the Bluray 3D covers get the best covers while the 2D always get terrible ones?
reowner - 7/18/2013, 1:34 PM
@TMP - I disagree, Man of Steel was better but the Blu-Ray covers for Star Trek Into Darkness are pretty amazing and better than Man of Steel's Blu-Ray covers.
CaptainPresley - 7/18/2013, 1:36 PM
They didn't use the teaser poster because some unrecognizable guy on a pile of rubble doesn't sell DVD's/Blu-Rays.
armalarm - 7/18/2013, 1:52 PM
^ says the guy with a Star Wars DP.
marvel72 - 7/18/2013, 2:14 PM

EpitomeofAwesome - 7/18/2013, 2:19 PM
Guys, is this movie worth seeing? I haven't seen it, and some of you say it's horrible, some of you say it's amazing

Great film! I loved it, can't wait to see it again on the blu-ray!!!

I really hope they did the video right with this one. The first one had astonishing video quality and since this is going to switch between 2.35 and 1.78 I hope all the scenes are done right!
MOSESivviOC - 7/18/2013, 2:31 PM
@marvel72 the 3D cover was also a poster image, which was also in the trailers. it's not spoiling anything.
LeaderVladimir - 7/18/2013, 2:39 PM

It looks like Kirk, Spock and Neytiri are the ones who destroyed the building hahaha
Brady1138 - 7/18/2013, 5:20 PM
Uncross your eyes, Kirk, they're gonna get stuck like that!
abw2 - 7/18/2013, 5:41 PM

The second one's my favorite, I think. *pure awesomeness*;*cool*/P :)

This sequel took all the science out of science fiction. It was a good movie, but a terrible Star Trek movie. Just a movie about bad guy domination that happened to take place in space. Gene Roddenberry would not approve.
Dandy - 7/18/2013, 10:08 PM
First poster is awful mix of two much better posters they put out........almost makes it worth getting a 3D one.....if I was stupid enough to have bought a 3D TV.
