I think Spider-Man has the best and most diverse Rogue's Gallery ever! Batman definitely comes close.

defietly a hard one. SM has the best rougue group in Marvel, and Batman in DC in my opinion.

Hard to choose, especially given that I grew up with the animated series. Spider-Man's Rogue Gallery gets my vote for antagonizing more memorable episodes.

Both def have great villains, I'm a Marvel guy and love spidey and his villains but batmans villains are much more iconic so too are most of the big DC characters but I cnt see why there DC films fails so much. They need to get there act together and potray these iconic DC characters on screen as they were meant to be.

Umm... how did you get CATMAN and forget SCARECROW?
Im a huge fan of both's villains, its really hard. But i have to give it to Batman cause i feel like they're more realistic and legitimately evil.

First off you guys are IDIOTS FULL BLOWN IDIOTS you honestly believe that Spiderman has the best collection of villains. That Spiderman’s villains are better than Batman, please go and take a lap. THAT IS THE STUPIDEST THING I HAVE EVER HERD. First of all I will give you this of all the collection of villains Batman and Spiderman have the best. But all of Spiderman villains are the same. Some tragic element happened to a scientist or a thug and they got turned into a “monster”. Plus all of Spiderman’s villains are people turned into elements or animals (most of them). Plus they all have beaten Spiderman with out even flinching. Spiderman gets his ass kicked by these villains all the time. Now one my bring up the argument that most of Batman villains are raging homicidal maniacs and that is not true. Joker is probably the only one of batman villains that is under that category the rest are unique. Take Scarecrow for example: he is a super unique villain that Mysterio is a poor imitation of (though they should put him in The Amazing Spiderman 2. Scarecrow is a scientist that wants to examine fear in live situations and how the human can react to such a powerful element who has a fear of bats! (How unique is that?! Very!). Hugo Strange is a wonderful villain he provided the psycodelic nature that every hero should have of a villain that is brutally obsessed with the main protagonist. Catwoman is perfect; she is a thief that actually is found of both Bruce Wayne and Batman. Bane is the probably one of the greatest villains batman has and that was ever made. Bane has both brutality and intelligence and is capable of using every element batman uses but to the near extreme. THAT IS JUST SOME OF THE REASONS WHY BATMAN VILLAINS EASILY OUT RANK SPIDERMAN’S. Spiderman may risk his life BUT BATMAN RISKS HIS SANITY GOING UP AGAINST VILLAINS THIS COMPLEX AND AWESOME. AND IN THE WORLD OF BEING A HERO YOUR SANITY IS WORTH MORE THAN YOUR LIFE!

lol every word out of your mouth is pure fanboy rage at its finest. Batman villains aren't even dangerous to an actual superhero. Batman is a human fighting humans lets see Batman take on a foe who actually has hmmm I don't know powers perhaps? You proved nothing with your rant my friend and oh by the way, Catman, Calender Man, Scarface and Mad Hatter? seriously? I saw Catman on The Fairly Odd Parents for Christ sake.

Batman villains aren't worthy for an actual superhero. That must the joker is one of the most feared villains in the DCU and villains with powers hmm i don't know maybe Killer Croc or bane or Mr.freeze. And what about all the other people there total fan boys of spider-man. You can't just judge me because i'm voicing my opinion. Lets see does Solomon Grundy have powers oh yea he does, does Killer Croc have powers? Oh yea he does, does Mr. freeze have powers? Oh yea he does. Oh and don't get me started on Spider-man's lame ass villains. The kangaroo, Spot, beetle and lets not forget the famous rocket racer. yea i think im going to go with batman on this one

lol Mr. Freeze doesn't have powers, neither does Bane the guy takes drugs to be strong and Freeze has a suit that does shit for him and Killer Croc is just a wanna be Lizard. You are right they aren't worthy for a superhero because they aren't super in any way, shape, or from and again any hero who has a villain that is associated with a kids show such as the Fairly Odd Parents speaks volumes about them. I'll continue Two-Face, Penguin and Riddler? laughable at best. Any Spidey villain could beat your shit list of posers since well Spidey villains have powers. Read the poll and be mad. Fans don't lie.

@ Captain Tall Batman? I think not. Most of his villains are either maniacs or guys with guns that is why his most fearsome villain is just bat shit insane, so please continue to tell me Batman takes on super villains when he himself got his back broken by a guy on steroids. Batman fails, and so do you.

Great rogue galleries... Cant really decide! Batman is my best superhero so ill go with the rogue gallery of his, and also batman's enemies are more psychopatic so i think they are better.. Its great to see how creepy these villains
Are... Also some of spiderman villains are just not so real.. Its hard to see those villains when you put them in the big screen. Batman villains are flexible and looks real though!

@iMVuze

I can tell from your last response that you don't read Batman or know much about him. Some of Batman's rogue gallery do have superhuman powers. Clayface for one, and Bane does have Superhuman strength. It comes from chemicals, if you want to label Bane as steroids then you will have to label Captain America's powers as steroids as well.

Batman however DOES fight super-powered enemies. Read his stuff with Justice League or his team ups with Superman. Think they would really make a Superman/Batman comic and make them fight non-metas? Also most notibly, Batman is the only person to ever survive Darkseid's Omega Beams. Batman went against Darkseid, and he won.

Let us compare the villains side by side:

Joker vs. Carnage: The Joker was made insane(and he needs weapons), Kasady was born that way(and he is a walking weapon)

Bane vs. Kraven: Bane wins, Kraven would not get close to Bats but Bane broke him.

Killer Croc vs. Lizard: Do I even need to do this? Lizard would take Croc without getting out of breath.

Harvey "Two-Face" Dent vs. Norman "Green Goblin" Osborn: Goblin wins, flipping a coin takes to long when all you need is a pumpkin bomb.

Cat Woman vs. Black Cat: Meow!!! Too close to call, tie!

Clayface vs. Sandman: Very close call, but think about this: if they went against Hulk who would last longer? there is your answer. I'm going with Sandman.

Man-Bat vs. Morbius: I would have to give it to Morbius, he is a freaking vampire that drains your life-force by touching you.

I couldn't think of comparable match ups for some of them, like Scarecrow, or Grundy, or Ock, or Scorpion, or Elektro. I would have to give it to Spider-man's villains.
