Gal Gadot, a.k.a. Wonder Woman, has been heavily criticized for being "too skinny" ever since being announced as Diana Prince in the upcoming Untitled Batman/Superman movie. However, she has been training for the role recently and posted this picture a short time ago:

Well, Gal has posted this picture on her Facebook and is captioned saying "Selfi while standing on a ball. Now tell me this is not original! Good morning!!!".

"Selfi while standing on a ball. Now tell me this is not original! Good morning!!!"

Gadot has previously stated that she begins filming this May (leaving plenty of time to continue bulking up) and has been contracted for three films as Wonder Woman. What do you guys think? Do like seeing her take the role seriously and preparing early on, or do you think she will still be "too skinny" by the time filming starts? Sound off below.

Kurne - 2/24/2014, 12:24 PM
She's still got 2 months left, so that's aight.
charlie2094 - 2/24/2014, 12:24 PM
Always good to see actors training for roles, definitely takes a lot of commitment

She'll be fine, Wonder Woman is hardly that big anyways...just needs to fill out a little, that's all...

Hurry up girl!

themidnightking - 2/24/2014, 12:27 PM
I'd still hit it
Nick56 - 2/24/2014, 12:28 PM
Starting to look much more curvy and tough. I BELIEVE IN GAL GADOT! And Ben Affleck!
TimL - 2/24/2014, 12:28 PM
I'd rather see a skinny wonder woman than a bodybuilding/bulky one. Keeps up that extra terrestrial feeling if some skinny chick hits like a train.
Kurne - 2/24/2014, 12:31 PM
Is she working with a dialect coach? Please do so. I'm hoping to find out if her accent isn't to blame for her performance(s).
Indy - 2/24/2014, 12:31 PM
Good job!
MrReese - 2/24/2014, 12:32 PM
Is she even gonna suit up in BvS? If not, by the time she gets her solo film (IF she gets 1) she will have bulked up plenty.I'm not worried.
420yoloswag - 2/24/2014, 12:34 PM
wuts wrong wit dat casting? clealry you aint seen fast n da furious
MrReese - 2/24/2014, 12:41 PM
@MrBlackJack Oh word. They might as well drop this whole Batman vs Superman thing & just call it Trinity then.
StarYeezus - 2/24/2014, 12:41 PM
Correction: this would've been perfect casting...

But it's pointless to complain about this still. I'm done judging the Diana we've gotten until the film comes out.
TheGreenGusblin - 2/24/2014, 12:41 PM
@Gusto I have plans for you... GUSTO!
ALmazing - 2/24/2014, 12:46 PM
This is still disappointing.

Brilliant. Way to go, old man.. you've spilled some Miley on the thread. Now BlackJack's going to willingly crawl back to his grave.
quasi95 - 2/24/2014, 12:49 PM
Well I think Gadot is a good choice because she has an ethnic look to her. Wonder Woman is essentially foreign but is always painted as a [frick]ing white girl hence all these white girls you guys look for in casting. Shes making progress though. I really hope she could blow us away.
Klone - 2/24/2014, 12:50 PM
Scrawny lower body. Though I'm sure her defenders will storm in at any moment parading pictures of WW being slim in the comics or how the strength doesn't come from the muscle... because we all totally would have been cool with a 90lbs Cavill right?
Klone - 2/24/2014, 12:50 PM
I'm still feeling somewhat more faithful though.
Klone - 2/24/2014, 12:51 PM
This does show me one thing though: when people go on about her bone structure, they make it sound like, to my mind, she's one of those people with bodies so small the head looks massive and therefore ridiculous despite muscle mass being added. This picture shows me otherwise.
Klone - 2/24/2014, 12:53 PM
She certainly seems less scared about getting hell from the public than Affeck lol. That guy must of barricaded his house before that news was announced.
batz11 - 2/24/2014, 12:53 PM
Stand on my balls, that'd be news...
Klone - 2/24/2014, 12:55 PM
I'd like them to write WW with subtle in terms of emotion... i.e. not screaming generic warrior stuff in a triumphant manner and killing shit with about as much tact and subtly as a retarded elephant on steroids. Given the new writer this may happen. I can hardly remember Argo though so I can't really say for definite.
MrCBM56 - 2/24/2014, 12:55 PM
MAC

Exactly. Honestly, and maybe this is just me, but I see lots of progress in her body structure. I don't know what else people want, right now she's really close to hitting the physique WW needs.
Klone - 2/24/2014, 12:57 PM
"ICE CREM IS WANDERFUL!!!!!"
"DER IS MA TRU PURRPOZE CUMBAT LEEF DEM 2 MI!!!!!"
"GREE-TUNS WUARRYIARRRRSS!!!!"
"U R A WUARRYIAR AK LIK 1!!!!!!!!"
batcheeks8 - 2/24/2014, 12:59 PM
I can definitely see progress!
Klone - 2/24/2014, 12:59 PM
@CBMS

To be fair, whilst she has in no way hit that body type, there is obvious improvement. My remaining fears: her acting (a lot of emotional depth and subtly should be required), the writing (how she's been written recently has me scared) and the costume (potentially something generic and ugly, like Faora but red and gold).

GOOD GOD A TERRIBLE THOUGHT OCCURRED TO ME!

They have Frank Miller on this film as the PRIMARY ADVISOR... he hates Superman, loves Batman, did a awful job with Superman-Batman dynamic in TDKR and made Superman a bitch... so already Superman may be getting screwed but consider how he has written WW... and I thought JLW was bad.
batcheeks8 - 2/24/2014, 1:02 PM
@MAC

where does it say Miller is the "primary adviser"? Snyder went for a chat with him, that's it..
Klone - 2/24/2014, 1:03 PM
@cipher

Never mind something like WW coming to the realization that the politics is far more different from Themyscira with all the war, inequalities, etc. in the backdrop of the main storyline. Nah, let's have a "ISE CRUYUM IZ WAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDEEEEEEEERFFFFFFFFFFFFFULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" thing... because lord knows that has subtly in abundance lol.
Klone - 2/24/2014, 1:04 PM
@batcheek

I thought they outright said at Comic-Con he was on board as a main adviser? Eh, I may be mistaken. If so I'll retract that statement.
batcheeks8 - 2/24/2014, 1:06 PM
@MrBlackJack

If it was fanservice that's [frick]ed up, because iirc most people hated the fact that they met up haha
Klone - 2/24/2014, 1:06 PM
What happened the Miller though? He has written two of the most well know, and largely considered quintessential, Batman stories of all time and one of the most well know and highly regarded Daredevil runs ever. So what the hell happened? Is he intentionally trolling everything or did he get hooked on the happy powder one day?
