Leinil's just finished some layouts here, but it's a nice teaser for everyone. The picture really says it all: Nemesis, Superior, Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass. The first Millarworld crossover event:

This is stupid! Part of what made Kick Ass a great book was that were no REAL Superheroes... Now there is Superior?! And what made Nemesis great was a Supervillian in a world with nothing but everyday heroes.

This screws up everything original about Millar's work!

Kick ass and Superior to team up against Nemesis... At first i agreed with Woodinator and was like "goddamn Millar" but then... this actually struck me as sounding epic!!! So he's creating his own universe. Way to go Millar :)

Yea i think its just promotional hype.. Kick-Ass, Nemesis and Superior should never occupy the same universe.

Kudos to Miller and the others trying to making there own characters and creating unique universes (here's looking at you Kirkman)

Hmm...have to wait and see. Regardless of my feelings about all these characters existing in the same universe, I'm reading and liking all of these titles. I'm sure I'll pick it up. What ever "IT" is.

@Necrophobos I love movies too. And really love movies about comic book characters. But I hate the fact that Mark Millar makes these for the sole purpose of making movies and building hype. Not to mention he is an attention whore.

Either way, this could be good... or just something random. Now to wait and see.

I mean the characters are way more interesting than a lot of other Superhero teams. As long as he doesn't write it poorly just to get some cash, it should be good. The characters' personalities and powers really conflict.

I'd pick it up. After reading a review to make sure it's not garbage...

Cool, I hope it's not canon though. The purpose of Kick-Ass is that's it's a normal kid in a real world, it's not the same with a Superman clone flying around.

Mark Millar is the biggest hypocrite there is. He personally said that the moment super powers and high tech weapons got added on to kick-ass it would be ruined. And now the same person that said that is adding both super powers and high tech to the series. What an idiot. I loved reading kick-ass and it's one of my favorites and I don't say that to every new comic that comes out. My respect for this guy is dropping more and more. He is a self hyped machine. To think I thought he was cool at one point. The least he can do is keep kick-ass the way it is.
