New Red Band Trailer for Paul

Universal Pictures releases a new Red Band trailer for director Greg Mottola's upcoming sci-fi comedy, Paul, written by and starring the comedy duo of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost! WARNING: Adult language!

Synopsis

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) reunite for the comedy adventure Paul as two sci-fi geeks whose pilgrimage takes them to America’s UFO heartland. While there, they accidentally meet an alien who brings them on an insane road trip that alters their universe forever.

For the past 60 years, an alien named Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen) has been hanging out at a top-secret military base. For reasons unknown, the space-traveling smart ass decides to escape the compound and hop on the first vehicle out of town—a rented RV containing Earthlings Graeme Willy (Pegg) and Clive Collings (Frost).

Chased by federal agents and the fanatical father of a young woman that they accidentally kidnap, Graeme and Clive hatch a fumbling escape plan to return Paul to his mother ship. And as two nerds struggle to help, one little green man might just take his fellow outcasts from misfits to intergalactic heroes.




Paul opens March 18th in the U.S.!

i saw it last weekend,very funny film.

if your fan of pegg his on top form in this,i can't stand the sight of seth rogen after he let me down with the green hornet.

but he is the voice of the alien which is alright because i don't actually get to see that knob.

lots of film refrences from other movies as well.

i'd give it 3.5/5

For the record, the US isn't the only place this hasn't opened yet. Other than the UK, all release dates are March or later.

@onslut- clearly me for one, so thats a dumb question, but the title of this site becomes misleading, and being someone who has posted things that were removed even tho they were slightly off the sites description, though still relevant to the fanbase, i find it annoying that this is posted...

Friend of mine just walked in with a DVD of this. Normally, silly movies like this do catch my interest, but Seth Rogans voice is just way off for the character. It's like they didn't even consider giving the alien a voice to fit his look. They just said, Seth Rogan, done.

its funny enough, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are brilliant as ever

but nothing in Paul beats Shaun of the Dead & Hot Fuzz. there was a little too much childish humour in Paul for my liking while the other two movies had a bit more intelligent comedy

Kato rocked though, hope to see more of him in other future movies
