Astro Boy Interviews from SDCC: Kristen Bell

Imagi Animation Studios rolled out unfinished clips of the new feature-length CGI Astro Boy movie at the San Diego Comic-Con. I had the opportunity to sit down with Bell, famous for her roles on Veronica Mars and Heroes.

Kristen said, "I saw the movie a couple nights ago and I loved it." She went on to say that while the film contains kid-friendly action, there are some important themes it touches upon, including the importance of preserving our environment and being kind to one another.



Astro Boy was directed by David Bowers and also features the voice talents of Kristin Bell, Nicolas Cage, Nathan Lane, Eugene Levy, Donald Sutherland, Bill Nighy, and Samuel L. Jackson.

@Turd: Actually, Astro did have machine guns come out of his butt in the footage they showed us. It apparently surprises Astro as much as it did the audience.

wow. i have seen a lot of strange weaponry in movies before....but never laser beams coming outta dudes butts to take out a bad guy. this shall be interesting.
