CBM Fight Club RULES!!!

-NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST. In choosing a winner base your vote on the most iconic interpretation of the character. The comment section is a great place for you to present why you think that character would win the fight.

-The fights does not need to be deathmatches, incapacitating the other character can be considered a win.

-Lopsided matches may occur (which also happens regularly in the comics and movies) but before you write out the "weaker" character try to think of possible ways this character can beat the more "powerful" opponent. Again the comment section will be helpful in this.

-Eligible fighters are characters who have both been given life in comics AND movies.

THE POLLS WILL RUN FOR A WHOLE MONTH BEFORE THE RESULTS WILL BE DISPLAYED. [CLICK HERE TO VOTE & VIEW OTHER POLLS]

SUPERBAR FIGHT!!!

Scenario:

The CBM ClubFighters are fitted with their regular gadgets and weapons, they have access to whatever resources they have, and in terms of skillwise/powerwise they are on their most "iconic" interpretation. Hey Witness, I really like the publisher/group standing. But according to that one question: How can Marvel have a win share of 151/59=2,56=256% or DC of 111/69=1,61=161% respectively.

And since this group standing may heat up the Marvel vs. DC discussion wouldn't it be more fear to give a certain number of interpublisher fights/wins? I mean for example if Marvel characters would have fought against other marvel characters most of their respective fight (e. g. Invisible Woman vs. Hulk this time) then of course this would lead to a high number of wins.

And btw thanks for these polls. I really enjoy them.

HAHAHA lol the last big fight what the [frick]. Dr.Manhatten is a god, he can duplicate him self over and over rly no point in me saying it, but the general idea is he is god. if there is a Christian God we believe in, he is called Dr.Manhatten in the comic version

The difference with Dr. Manhattan is that he believes in a deterministic set of events and that anything he does won't matter based on his perception of seeing the past, present and future. So though he is "god-like" in powers and physicality he's not god-like in mind. He's not omniscient, that is how Ozymandias "beats" him. He out thinks him. So to beat Dr. Manhattan you have to get him in a battle of wits and make him doubt himself and what and or anything he does is good or worthwhile as to prey upon any emotion he has left and based on what you would like the outcome to be. I would see a Dr. Doom or a professor x being able to do this. Batman eh, maybe but extremely doubtful.

Snake Eyes

Snake Eyes may have the edge over Bullseye but as they know nothing about each other, Bullseye may get a lucky shot in.

Sue Storm

Hulk no smash what Hulk no see! These two know each others weaknesses so it's easy for Sue to stay hidden, stick a bubble over Hulks head and let him use his oxygen up or tire himself out. With seemingly no one there to provoke him, he'll calm down soon enough. It's a game of patience.

Atom

With time to prepare Atom can make sure Spiderman never knows where he is. Not even his spidey sense will be enough to know exactly where the danger is coming from, that's if it even picks up something so small which in itself is doubtful. Atom could even climb into Spidermans ear and from there it's an easy win.

Dr Manhattan, Silver Surfur or Thor

Tough call. I would have put Flash there too but SS can see things moving faster than light. Think I'd give SS the edge over the others but any of those three can come out on top.

Just noticed Hulk has "beaten" Martian Manhunter twice?! What planet are theses voters living on? MM not only has the strength and resilience to stand up to Hulk (just briefly and not beat him though but enough to size him up and survive a few lucky shots) but he can let Hulks attacks pass through him while he gets into Hulks mind. Game over so easily!

1st. Snake Eyes. In a chance in encounter, i feel like SE is more well rounded.

2nd. Tough call. if Sue doesnt hold back and goes for the kill right off the back, she has a good chance. If she doesnt and allows the hulk to get angrier and angrier he will not be able to keep her force field up against an enraged hulk.

3rd. Spidey. Both are geniuses, but spidey is faster, stronger and a way better fighter.

i believe the amount of wins for marvel proves one of two things. either this site is dominated by marvel fanboys who are just biased and vote for their favorites...or...maybe its marvels characters that are overpowered unlike what the dc haters would have you believe. so stop whining about how batman beats everybody and superman is overpowered, blah, blah, blah. you are winning the votes, so why all the crying? enjoy your cheap, biased, and generally unrealistic victories and let us who enjoy the comparisons and the challenge of the matches enjoy them.

Snake Eyes- Bullseye wouldn't have a place to penatrate him...He has taken out crowds of ninjas before...Bullseye would be just another criminal...

Hulk- like any normal woman, Sue would try to talk Hulk out of it...Hulk would get angier and angier until finally doing a Hulk sonic-slap, sending her flying into the next city...

Spidey- On a match with prep, he would know Atom would come at him small, and prepare for it..once his spider-sense picks up on his whereabouts, it's web-shooting glour.

Batman, with prep Wayne might even be able to talk the Dr. out of fighting...

Manhattan is so overrated. They determined he couldn't even stop all the nuclear weapons in the world if they were fired, even though he is supposed to be "God", exist in all planes of existence and so on, he didn't stop Veidt and he couldn't remake reality so that what Veidt did was erased from existance as some claim he can do. He is a less powerfull version of Surfer, as far as I can tell.

Spoken like a true DC fanboy. I love all the Bat family but over all I find the Marvel characters more interesting. I just can understand how u can accuse Marvel fan of choosing with a bias when ppl are voting Batman to beat Odin or Supes beating Galactus. Also I believe Marvel does a great job splitting its power level tiers, from skilled humans to nearly godlike characters. Marvel has a huge roster (maybe too big) with gives them lots of diversity, where DC has basically it JLA. Thus DC has put all their chips in to these characters, advancing them over the years and making them all "overpowered". Superman has almost every power under the sun (no pun intended), same with MM, Superboy, Flash, they are even making Aquaman a Badass now! I guess I typed all that to say, dont be a hypocrite.

first of thank you for responding, secondly keep your belittling to yourself. i did mention something about enjoying the challenge of the matches or did you ignore that in order to label me a dc fanboy? you just about proved my point, odin, galactus, surfer, thor, phoenix are just a few. all of wich have almost limitless power. compared to super strenghth, heat vision or whatever else seems waaay overpowered to me. i do prefer dc but i enjoy all the characters wich was my point. so throw your insults like "hypocrite" but there are biased ppl like the batfans you pointed out, but the votes shouldnt be so lopsided unless what i said was true. good point about the huge roster, but if dc were overpowered shouldnt they be ahead in the votes? an overpowered small group should have more victories over a well diversified larger group. thanks again for your input, just didnt like being labeled.

@gravedigger9906

Maybe I came off pretty harsh, I apologize for the name calling. That said it just irks me when someone accuses ppl for being over zealous about the comic brand they prefer when they are obvious zealous for the opposing brand. Lets be honest it more ridiculous that Superman beating Galactus then Martian Manhunter losing to Hulk. As I mentioned, Im majority a Marvel fan, but I vote Ive personally vote unbiasedly every time, and even explain why I voted. I guess I assumed ur post was directed to me since it came right after mine. I think the reason Marvel is winning overall is the characters being chosen for the DC side beside the JLA are bottom of the barrel (Fire,Ice,Giganta, Staturn Girl, Poison??). Maybe u should ask The Witness to put Darkseid, Orion, Specter, Firestrom and other powerful DC ppl in the polls.

i agree, thats all i was trying to say but i probably was too sarcastic. sorry for the misunderstanding, i wasnt directing my post at you in any way, just happened to post after you. i really enjoy the ppl like you who explain their thoughts. its makes it fun to imagine the outcomes. sorry if i got a smart mouth, it takes the fun out of the discussions.
