CBM Fight Club RULES!!!

-NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST. In choosing a winner base your vote on the most iconic interpretation of the character. The comment section is a great place for you to present why you think that character would win the fight.

-The fights does not need to be deathmatches, incapacitating the other character can be considered a win.

-Lopsided matches may occur (which also happens regularly in the comics and movies) but before you write out the "weaker" character try to think of possible ways this character can beat the more "powerful" opponent. Again the comment section will be helpful in this.

-Eligible fighters are characters who have both been given life in comics AND movies.

THE POLLS WILL RUN FOR A WHOLE MONTH BEFORE THE RESULTS WILL BE DISPLAYED. [CLICK HERE TO VOTE & VIEW OTHER POLLS]

Wolverine FTW!

Lets get Max Payne involved, he has had a movie and a comic now!

Max Payne vs The Punisher
LoudLon - 5/9/2012, 2:07 AM
Indie vs Lara Croft: Sorry, Indie. He's by far the cooler character but not even he could stand up to LC's duel automatic pistols.

Thor vs Elektra: Another of those unfortunate lop-sided fights. Elektra's toast.

DD vs The Joker: DD would kick his ass so hard Joker would burp farts for a month. Forget about prep time; DD's senses would tip him off the second a Joker trap was about to spring. And for the record, DD would also take Batman apart. :)

@loudlon, dd beating batman?? give your head a shake bud...
xenomorph929 - 5/9/2012, 5:50 AM
How in gods name did Huntress (DC fighter far above batman in the comic) lose to elektra who is affraid of bullseye?
Jollem - 5/9/2012, 6:15 AM
i agree with DD taking out the bat. i can see both winning in different scraps but batman is definitely not stompin on daredevil 100% of the time.
i also thought dc should have ponied up on brian michael bendis' proposed batman/daredevil crossover story.
RAZE - 5/9/2012, 6:34 AM
1st. Dr Jones, Dr Jones

2nd. Thor

3rd. DD
TheMyth - 5/9/2012, 7:45 AM
DD would stomp Bats in their first encounter, no question, Bats wouldn't be ready for DD and it would be one surprise after the next til he was down. Get over your Bat-crush and step into reality.
GreyChaos13Zero - 5/9/2012, 9:43 AM
Lara Croft
Thor
Daredevil

You guys voting do realize that Mr. Fantastic would have access to his regular equipment, right? That means Negative Zone trips for everybody.
Pokeysteve - 5/9/2012, 9:54 AM
@xenomorph929
Haha where did you hear Huntress was better than Batman?
TonyChu - 5/9/2012, 11:03 AM
@ NickKaseAKAthePieEATERxGETIT I take it this is you
stumbleMaster57 - 5/9/2012, 12:12 PM
wow i actualy really like that last fight because there is no thor, superman, silver surfer etc., to ruin it. that battle would be awesome
rottencotten - 5/9/2012, 1:30 PM
Green Lantern got screwed...and people complain about the Batman fanboys...

Lara Croft- Younger, better weapons, and can seduce Jones as well...

Thor- as much as I like Elektra's character better, she would get bitch-slapped by Mjolnir...

The Joker- As mentioned in his poll, Joker could set up multiple sonic traps to confuse DD, then finish him off withing something big, like a rocket launcher...and Batman would kick the crap out of DD...

My vote goes to Gambit for the super-battle...
LoudLon - 5/9/2012, 2:19 PM
@relentless -- think about it; there's no gadget Bats has that DD won't sense coming -- the dude can hear a muscle flex as it's in motion, he would hear Bats' heartrate kick up, his radar sense would determine the trajectory and velocity of whatever Bats throws at him, and this is a guy who can knock a bullet out of the air with his billy club. Like Bats DD's at peak condition for a man of his age, height and weight, and I'd say pound for pound he's a better fighter because he's always had to rely on his fists, without the benefit of copious gadgets. DD's a bad-ass of the highest order, second only to Captain America in terms of straight-up fighting ability (it's why he can hold his own against guy like Spider-Man) and his enhanced senses give him a definitive edge.

DD rarely gets the props he deserves. Bats tends to get far more than he warrants. Just saying.
gravedigger9906 - 5/9/2012, 5:35 PM
dont care bout the first two fights

DAREDEVIL beats joker but not before he kills a couple dozen innocents. i also wouldnt count out joker. very unpredictable and resilient. also has a high pain threshold.

disagree with dd beating batman. dd has to concentrate to hear muscle tightening and heartbeat changes. any sonic disturbance can easily disorient dd, where bats can then take the advantage. they are very even in alot of other areas, and i do agree that dd is under rated.
RAZE - 5/9/2012, 6:21 PM
@LoudLon
Many characters have boasted being the best hand to hand fighter in their Comic Book Universe. Uve mentions that u have like 30 yrs of comic reading xp and im not even 30 yet, so im curious how would u rate the following characters on fighting skill alone, best to "worst".

Batman, Nightwing, DD, Captain America, Gambit, Kung Fu Kid, Iron Fist, Deathstroke.

This is Pound4Pound since I kno some are naturally stronger than others, I also left out Wolverine, Deadpool, and Spiderman because their fighting styles are directly suited to their powers ( DP and Logan tank damage cuz they can, or Spidey just doing his thing).
SuperMark - 5/10/2012, 9:23 PM
I agree with the guy who posted above: Indy is cooler, but Lara is a more seriously bad ass fighter. Indy is well-rounded; a top level scientist who can fight. She's a warrior who understands some science. In a raw fight, she's got it. In a movie length adventure, it might be more even. He is smart and lucky and skilled.
SuperMark - 5/13/2012, 10:36 PM
Batman, Nightwing, DD, Captain America, Gambit, Kung Fu Kid, Iron Fist, Deathstroke.

I don't know what a Kung Fu Kid is supposed to be, unless he's that future guy from Legion, in which case he can be number one. Plus I only know movie Gambit, so I'd put him in last if I had to. But setting those two adie, I'll rank the rest in my opinion.

Captain America
Batman
Iron Fist
DD OR Nightwing OR DeathStroke
