Scarecrow- no doubt Kingpin would crush Scarecrow in a heartbeat but to do that he'd have to get in close and thats when he gets hit with the fear gas and it's all she wrote for Kingpin at that point.

Sinestro- Human Torch is outclassed

Ghost Rider- nothing Flash can do to GR

Martian Manhunter- lol this is a joke right?

Kingpin vs Scarecrow-Crane's fear toxin scares up a win.

Human Torch vs Sinestro-Sinestro's ring is just to powerful for Johnny to deal with.

Flash vs Ghost Rider-It would be a hell of a race but in a fight Ghost Rider wins.

Martian Manhunter vs Punisher-J'onn for the win.

as you know I'm a huge Batman fan but i agree that bats can't win against Spidey, even with prep, that Spider Sense would be the huge deciding factor in that fight, nothing Batman can do to counter that i think.

Spidey would own Batman most of the time....

Although I'm sure there is a scenario where Bats can win. Think about it, Daredevil has fought Spider-Man and lasted a long time and put up a good fight. Kingpin can say the same....Doc Ock's fully HUMAN body can take Spidey's punches. Why? Because he holds back...because he's a GOOD GUY!

Sure Spidey could beat the shit out of Batman in five seconds....if Spidey was a bloodthirsty killer and not the web head we know and love.

The thing is, Spider-Man always pulls his punches to like 10% so as not to kill his opponents. Because he's a good person (unless it's Garfield's version...lol) and doesn't like killing people. Which is what has given guys like Daredevil the opportunity to take advantage of his kindness.

Spider-Man beats Batman 99/100. But there is and could be a scenario where Batman wins. Sure Spidey could kill him in five seconds flat, but facts are...he wouldn't.

And no, Peter is not smarter than Bruce. They are both smarter than each other in different ways...

Peter is smarter in areas like genetics, mutations, etc. he's smart in a lab.

Bruce is smarter in areas like just pure human intelligence, tactical skills, technology, engineering, etc. he's smart in the field.

two things: no WAY is Peter smarter than Bruce, not where it counts anyways, theres a chance he MIGHT be smarter than Bruce in he lab but in all other areas of science and tech Bruce is smarter for sure, and yes Joker does have a weaponized version of the smiles on him most times, usually in the form of projectile darts or, as seen in the killing joke, a spike in his palm. he's also immune to it so using it as a gas close up is a viable option for him as well. Face facts VIRILE, joy buzzer, knives, razor cards, squirting flower, trick gun, joker venom: these are the things that are generally accepted to be carried by Joker at all times.

and as I said before, I'm on your side about Spidey beating Batman but a scenario I could see Bats winning is if he got ahold of whatever compound Green Goblin used to nullify the Spider Sense, use it on him and then hit him with a Ethyl Chloride bomb, then go to town on him.

Petes better at physics and chemistry, but Batmans a better tactician, detective (obviously) and polymath than Spidey.

I feel like you're being condescending where it's unnecessary. Doopie hasn't said anything fanboy-ish or irrational at all....you really need to cut the holier than thou shit, it really sounds silly over the web.

Trust me, I know how you feel but facts are fact. Spider-Man would destroy Batman if he wanted to, but truth is...he wouldn't want to. Daredevil, Kingpin, Punisher, Kraven, Cap, list goes on...human level opponents who have held their own with Spidey because he pulls his punches so as not to kill the people he's fighting.

Because a blood lusted Spider-Man could kill Batman, and most human level fighters at the same time if he really wanted to. But facts are, he's a GOOD GUY he does not want to. Which gives them an opportunity to do something, which may or may not succeed.

Chances of Batman winning are indeed very slim, but it is possible.

Ink about it Norman has taken on Spidey before....Bruce has about the same amount of resources and tech as Osborn and toys that are just as good. Bruce is more intelligent than Norman IMHO, but Norman has a better scientific/business mind.

Bruce is just like a smarter, more tactical Goblin without the physical enhancements. Of course Spidey still wins but it's not impossible for Batman...

You call JJ thin skin but isn't that the pot calling the kettle black.You call Batman with prep time beating Spiderman an injustice.Isn't that a pretty strong word for something that is only a fan base vote battle poll.Hell you even wrote an article trashing the character feats and abilities after he won a fight you didn't agree with and let not forget the time when Scientifically Accurate made fun of Spider-man you made an article trashing them too.No offense but that sounds pretty thin skinned to me.

While I get that some hardcore fanboys don't like it when people not familiar with the comic cannon get angry or upset when people bring in the movie and/or cartoon cannon in these poll but you guys have to realize everyone has a right to vote on these things.It's just a game and I promise I'm not going to get into silly arguments over silly character feats.

I acknowledge where each individual is coming from and I understand we don't like it when our favorites loses especially to characters we think are weaker to them be it powers,feats,or abilities.But it a two poll system and somebody has to lose the best thing to do is to remember it's all in good fun.It's all about sharing good story lines,movies,and or episodes to educate those not familiar with our point of view.
