I'm sure it will be good. Didn't need random Twitter reactions to tell me that.

I wasn't even close to being on board with this movie when I first heard about it, especially after that God-awful, cheap Men in Black knock-off, low-quality soap opera of an extra credits scene after Thor 2. But man, I've been getting more and more amped about this movie in spite of myself.

Sure it's risky, but I'm certain it's going to be a massive hit. I can see a huge amount of goodwill for this movie, simply because of how well-received The Winter Soldier was, along the same lines as how Iron Man 3 was received by being the first movie after The Avengers. Can't wait!

I hope it's as great as it looks...

I'm most positively sure it will be a heartfelt film.

I'm watching Cap: TFA too on FX with my pops. (Probably a nitpick but) One thing they lacked on explaining was the dynamic of African-American soldiers during that time era. It would've been good if they explained or at least hinted at it. Other than that I found the film to be pretty brutal in some scenes as well (for ex: the shoutout at the labs)

I think Guardians will be a fun ride to be honest, it does have a shot at being one of the highest grossing CBMs of 2014 as well. I haven't really been seeing too many TV spots for it now (despite the NBA playoffs) but I think it may need to be promoted more. It'll have some competition though. There's no doubt about that..."TMNT and Expendables 3" will put up a fight. You also have to think about some of the kids who will be going back to school around late August/Early September so parents may want to make sure they get at least one more ride in for their kids before school starts back up.

@EzioKenway1225, The actual content of the post credits scene wasn't all that bad...but from a purely technical aspect, it just looked so cheesy (which I guess was the point), low budget, cheap, and rushed. I think my biggest problem was the fact that I'd been watching something cosmic that still managed to feel gritty and grounded...and then all of a sudden we see Sif walk into a place that just feels completely different in tone. It was just so...goofy. It was really jarring, and I don't think I ever got passed that.

Still, even though my first introduction to Guardians of the Galaxy wasn't all that positive, I definitely changed my mind completely by now. It's up there at the top of my most anticipated movies the rest of this year!

"misty-eyed"

I'm pretty excited to see GOTG but getting teary eyed? Oh give me a [frick]ing break.

Yeah I feel you, it would've made it more realistic I guess for me. Even some Hitler and Red Skull scenes would've been pretty dope. A guy on a random thread gave me such a cool idea for DoFP if Magneto actually had the chance to meet Malcolm X in the 60's or even Professor X meeting Dr.King before his assassination. But they still played the Kennedy scenario out pretty well.

@dethpillow

Oh man, a Black Captain America would totally add more girth to the story the way I see it. It's a very fascinating thing to think about too. I'm sure they'll consider the idea one day when they run our of other ones. lol

I certainly hope Benecio Del Toro's Collector will fit perfectly in the movie, there is no way in hell he will feel out of place in GOTG like he did in Thor:TDW.

@EzioKenway1225, I'm dying to see Interstellar, and even though it's only coming out at the end of the year and we know next to nothing about it, it's a Nolan space exploration movie that's actually optimistic and hopeful. Sign me up!

My 2nd most anticipated movie would definitely be Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. I LOVED the first movie, and this looks even better.

Then, of course, Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm sure I'm missing something from my list, but yeah those are the first movies to come to mind haha. What about you?

@EzioKenway

I get that, but with this type of film and it ONLY being a 9 minute preview it seems a little overdramatic.
