Since they pulled down the above video, here's one of Martin Sheen/Uncle Ben with fans just before the scene. Let's see if Sony gets this one pulled...

I heard that Uncle Ben dies from snorting too much Cocaine in this film. Apperently he buys it from Charlie Sheen. WINNING!
Spidey91 - 5/13/2011, 8:03 AM

eeeeh. Why did they have to reboot?!?!?
TheLight - 5/13/2011, 8:22 AM
Native New Yorker! Dying in an alley, surrounded by garbage.
rbfn04 - 5/13/2011, 8:32 AM
I don't get it, why change wehre Uncle Ben died. Alone, in an alley...
Orphix - 5/13/2011, 8:33 AM
Wait a minute??? Uncle Ben DIES!!!?!?!

Are you INSANE!? Why the hell did you not put up SPOILER at the top of this article. You need to warn people about revealing THIS sh!t...

AHK92 - 5/13/2011, 8:40 AM
why couldn't they just do it like the original death; home invasion burglary in front of Aunt May?
TheDARKestKNIGHT - 5/13/2011, 8:42 AM
@spiderman2o29…great set video; looks like this is going to be a great emotional scene. Garfield will own the Peter Parker/Spiderman role. Still not a fan of the costume "redesign" but I think I'll be able to look past it in hopes that this will be an AMAZING Spiderman movie.
the1egend1ives - 5/13/2011, 8:44 AM
@Spiderman2o29

Sweet. Our first idea of what he'll sound like as Peter Parker. But why does he start acting like Gollum at 1:25?
GrimeKid - 5/13/2011, 8:45 AM
@Spiderman2o29 Even from the back you can tell Andrew Garfield really brings it in that vid. Good job dude.
PaulRom - 5/13/2011, 8:47 AM
That scene's always so emotional, especially on film.
JR - 5/13/2011, 8:49 AM
Great performance and there is no soundtrack yet! looking forward seeing this scene finished!
AC1 - 5/13/2011, 8:49 AM
Wow, that clip was intense...
@AHK72 the comic version doesn't really make sense though, the robber would've killed Aunt May as well. It's a major plot hole in Spideys origins imo.
Retardo - 5/13/2011, 8:50 AM
I agree with AHK92, but still it seems pretty gritty from the video
rbfn04 - 5/13/2011, 8:51 AM
so, he'll be walking around the streets and be like " oh', look, a body, OMG its Uncle Ben!!!" home bruglary makes more sense...
ElColmillo - 5/13/2011, 8:52 AM
Love the end of the video, Peter is like "Well, life goes on..."
RadicalDuck - 5/13/2011, 8:52 AM
That...looks...brilliant...you could really feel the emotion in Garfield there...man I'm getting psyched for this film...
KungFuKoala - 5/13/2011, 8:56 AM
Notice the attention to detail of Campbell/Garfield - the way Peter's hand touches the tarmac, the same way Spidey does on his fingertips. Good work folks.
primeobjective - 5/13/2011, 9:02 AM
Yeah, I felt it too! This version might just surprise us!
marvel72 - 5/13/2011, 9:04 AM
do we need the origin told again, would of been better telling it in the opening credits.

having 2 hours of spider-man from the start would of been awesome.
StrangerX - 5/13/2011, 9:04 AM
Sorry but He's gone Peter.
Boyle360 - 5/13/2011, 9:06 AM
Looks incredible. We can't even see the front, but we can see how well he's acting out. Simply amazing acting.
HaroldOfGalactus - 5/13/2011, 9:06 AM
uh cell phone vids dont zoom like that..............
Colton - 5/13/2011, 9:08 AM
i met Martin Sheen in Dublin in december. asked him about spiderman he said he dies in one of the first reels thats filmed.
Spidey91 - 5/13/2011, 9:10 AM
wow,very emotional scene right there!
and it seems that Uncle Ben is already dead, not agonizing.
CoolioVids - 5/13/2011, 9:18 AM
wow
Herosave - 5/13/2011, 9:21 AM
And now Uncle Ben's soul is consumed by Chaos. As we then have a setup for a Warhammer 40K movie.

On a more serious note, looks good.
whoa123 - 5/13/2011, 9:31 AM
I just got chills. Can't wait for this!
drfate - 5/13/2011, 9:32 AM

mbomb22 - 5/13/2011, 9:33 AM
he just sort of...gets up and walks away. not even with a purposeful walk, like he has some idea who did this and hes gonna go find the mofo and take him out, just a kind of casual stroll, like he doesnt have a care in the world
Rexgabe - 5/13/2011, 9:54 AM
I can't believe they would release this spoiler! The movie is ruined!
