New trailer for the Transformers: Dark of the Moon video game!

Laser- and rocket-powered combat. Check. Lots of gleaming metal being slammed hard, punctured, blown to bits, and/or twisted. Check. Huge variety of vehicles involved in fast-paced combat. Check. While this checklist can apply to quite a few first person shooter games or space-based games, it definitely sums some of the reasons to get excited about the latest Transformers game title, Transformers – Dark side of the moon The launch trailer for Transformers – Dark side of the moon shows just how far we’ve come from the chintzy but classic animation of Optimus Prime back in the day.

Many kids today would probably find it hard to believe that animated series (for some reason, calling them cartoons doesn’t seem adequate considering how big they are in our culture now) used to be done with hand drawn plastic cels. Definitely a throwback and foreign concept now because of the raw magic made possible by computer generated animation and imaging programs.
