THEHAWK Casts the ENTIRE 108 Members of the Justice League!

THEHAWK casts the 108 active members of the Justice League in all of its incarnations!

A special thanks to Shaman and joslezio85 for their help.
This is, as far as I know, the largest casting ever on ComicBookMovie.com. I have casted the 108 heroes that have ever served as active members in the Justice League. I did not cast reservists of honorary members like Snapper Carr and Kilowag, only those that served on the active roster. You know hat I’m goanna throw Snapper Carr in there for the heck of it.

You will most likely see one of your favorites here, I have done everyone from Batman to Zauriel.
This is much shorter than any of my previous castings as far as explanations go, so if you wish for me to elaborate on a choice leave a comment below. Let me know what you think. Enjoy.

106. Black Lightning Jefferson Pierce Justice League of America (vol. 2) # 7 Active in the Outsiders.
This is one of the most underappreciated characters in DC Comics, there have been characters resembling him in three different TV series, instead of the actual character. He really needs to be brought to the big screen.
----------Jamie Foxx

107. Red Arrow (Roy Harper) Justice League of America (vol. 2) # 7 Active in the Titans.
----------Shawn Hatosy

108. Geo-Force (Prince Brion Markov) Justice League of America (vol. 2) # 7 Active in the Outsiders.
----------Aaron Stanford

And Snapper Carr
0. Snapper Carr (Lucas Carr) Made honorary and team mascot in The Brave and The Bold # 28
--------Aston Kutcher

Well there you have it the ENTIRE League cast. In doing this I noticed something, there are a lot of sexy blonde ladies in the league.

shout out to hawk, shaman, and, joslezio
captain0vell - 6/30/2009, 8:25 PM
Breasts??? There were boobs in like every picture, even in some of the guys, i mean Look at the Atom!

But seriously thanks man!
THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 8:30 PM
Wow that must of took a long time to do. But looks good i got a couple minor changes. But overall looks good.
mounted88 - 6/30/2009, 8:31 PM
Thanks Mounted, I'm an insomniac, and Jen usually works nights so...

I know a lot of em are not perfect, but there are 108 FRICKIN PEOPLE UP THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 8:35 PM
Wow dude. This is an undertaking. Great job. I didnt like most of them but great job. Just kidding. I just didnt like superman or batman. Channing Tatum shouldn't be allowed to do anything.

Haven't seen a recent pic of Micheal Bein til here. Do you think he'd make a good Cable?
Betty - 6/30/2009, 8:57 PM
Bein for Cable? Hell ya! Glad you liked em man. At first I wasn't to crazy about the Supes or Bats choice, but after thinking about it for a while they grew on me.
And Tatum, well his voice is good for the role.

Sorry you didn't like those three, but only three out of 109 isn't bad.
THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 9:02 PM
Damn bro this must've taken you a while. Was this the cast you were talken about on the batman story page? Awesome choices i disagree with some but it is 108 people to cast and u start running out of good actors and I definitely understand. Seriously you need a job in comic book movies so we can get some good ones instead of this X-men 3 bull shit.
\\Knight's Out//
BatmanKnight - 6/30/2009, 9:18 PM
Thanks man and yes this is the cast I have been talking about for the past month.

I was actually recently in LA trying to sell a Batman script, but WB said they were going a different direction fo the franchise but they would keep me in mind, so traslation: They didn't like it lol. I have a friend on the inside that owed me a favor. They probably would rather go with a well known writer like Goyer than an unkown.
THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 9:24 PM
Personally I think Paz Vega should be wonder woman i think she looks more like wonderwoman then a faith oh well, but overall great casting some of the ppl u picked looked like they jumped right out of the comicbooks and posed for the camera. great job.
cbsmitty2 - 6/30/2009, 9:26 PM
Thanks man I know what you mean Especially my Zatanna pick! Though it did help that she played her wonderfully on Smallville!

THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 9:31 PM
great casting dude great casting but one casting i dont agree with you, how about casting scarlett johansson as supergirl or some other character where she doenst have to cover her face with alot of make up?!... just a thought?!
krzymua - 6/30/2009, 9:38 PM
Man their loss. The people in Hollywood are only as smart as they wanna look. One day in the future a smart director will take your script and it'll be stuff of legends. And if not sell them to me when you die and then they'll be stuff of legends haha.
\\Knight's Out//
BatmanKnight - 6/30/2009, 9:39 PM
Hey also, whens the next Batman story comen man. I need that shit its whats holden me over and maken me hopeful that Nolan wont quit on us on that well have another one.
\\Knight's Out//
BatmanKnight - 6/30/2009, 9:43 PM
The Zatanna episode was the only Smallville episode I watched in the past, hurm, say 8 seasons. ;) I'm kind of a Zatanna fan and she (whatever her name was ^^) did a great job!

Erm, btw: HAWK you're barkin mad! I mean, 108 League members?? Too much time...

Just kidding, it's quite impressive, though I have to disagree with a lot of choices. But anyway, rock on! It's really fun to make a casting list like this (I did one for fun myself lately), but can be pretty tough.

Seriously, 108? I don't even know a lot of the heroes...
Kyos - 6/30/2009, 9:46 PM
@krzymua. I might but Supergirl is not an active member of the League, and Scarlet has the same body style as Bulleteer.

@Batmanknight, Well I'm still working on my next Batman story, it and my other two stories will be sidetracked for about a week, I'm leaving for my honeymoon on the 5th. '

Oh and the script I submitted was a variation of my "End of Days" story.
THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 9:51 PM
@Kyos. I know a lot of em are unknown so I posted mini bios for a lot of em.
THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 9:52 PM
nice work!
SHHH - 6/30/2009, 9:56 PM
Right away, 1 and 2 are no good. The rest I don't really care about (or have ever heard of) but they seem good for the first part.

Jim Cavizel is just wrong and Adrian Pasdar is too much of a pussy.
Joker1Zero - 6/30/2009, 10:07 PM
Damn dude you must be good as hell in bed for your wife to put up with the biggest comic book reader ever.I mean shit how many people can name 108 JLA members. Just Kidding.but seriously congrats on getting married. She hot?

Is the next Batman story gonna be as long as the last one.Cause shit it better be I'm goin to my girlfriends parents house for the next 2 weeks and i need shit to do.What are the other 2 stories?
\\Knight's Out//
BatmanKnight - 6/30/2009, 10:07 PM
great picks but a few didnt fit as well
like hugh jackmen
tyko450 - 6/30/2009, 10:09 PM
Really nice pics on most of them. I especially liked the majority of the original teams casting...other than Superman and Batman. I just don't think Caviezel could pull off the whole awkward/nerdyness needed for Clark Kent. Spot on with Michael Weatherly, though! That guy is great.
Piotr - 6/30/2009, 10:11 PM
@THEHAWK

Put together a JLA story, if u have time i like em.
SHHH - 6/30/2009, 10:12 PM
hello.. nice to meet you all..
nice cast.. but it's too a lot.. but thanks..

i don't like :
jim caviezel for superman
adrian pasdar for batman

i like :
routh for supes
bale for batman
megan gale/ jessica biel for wonder woman
jason lewis for GL (Hal jordan)
ryan reynolds for flash (wally west)
alan ritchson for aquaman (original) arthur curry
billy crudup for martian manhanter

Daniel blacklantern - 6/30/2009, 10:22 PM
@Joker1Zero, Well there are a lot of people, I'm sure there was at least one you liked.

@BatmanKnight. Jen is an even bigger comic fan than I am, she is actually on this site a good bit, her name is THEPHOENIX. Myth came up with it because she is a major X-Fan. I think she is hot, she is about 5'9 has red hair and greenish eyes.

And this is the complete active roster for the League, there are about 60 support/reservist that i did not cast.

I'm not sure about my next Batman stories length, if it goes like I plan it will be about 30 pages instead of 50 like my Batman 5 story. The other two stories are "Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD" and "The Avengers"

@Tyko I picked Jackmen because he always looked like TDevil's human form to me, but I could find no picture of it.

@Piotr. I'm glad you liked it, agree Weatherly would be great, he just seems like Barry to me, and he is the perfect age to be Ryan Reynolds mentor.

@SHHH, I want to after I do some of these other ideas I have. I plan on two more Bat stories, Nick Fury, Avengers, maybe Cap America, and an X-Trilogy I have been working on with Jen and Myth's help.

Thanks to all of you for your comments and support I appreciate it!
THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 10:23 PM
Oh man, great stuff great stuff!
LuV1138 - 6/30/2009, 10:24 PM
@Daniel blacklantern

I did cast Ryan Reynolds for Wally in my casting, I did it in order of when they joined the team.

Bale has said he is tired of Batman so a replacement would be needed.

Jason Lewis and Megan Gale really don't have enough experience to play these roles, in such a large cast they would not be able to hold their own.

THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 10:27 PM
dude, if i had any complaints. i forgot 'em by the time I got to the end. Amazing job though. I bet your tired. The only one I disagree on is Liam Neeson, and it's not actually a disagree, it's a "i think there's someone better." lol. But, I don't remember his name. I'll tell you when I do. All and all good job.
joslezio85 - 6/30/2009, 10:42 PM
Interesting, I liked your picks for Blue & Gold!
longbowhunter - 6/30/2009, 10:43 PM

@luV1138 Thanks dude !

Thanks Joslezio, I feel the same way lol. I had a similar view on Liam, but I could not think of anyone else I liked so I stuck with him. This took about a month to do.

@longbowhunter. Thanks dude, I felt Sean William Scott was perfect for Booster Gold way back in the Rundown.
THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 10:51 PM
Sweet this has made the front !
THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 10:54 PM
@THEHAWK

thanks for appreciate..
i just think jason lewis was look a like hal jordan
or arthur curry(original aquaman)..
common was great for steel but he's potential to for black manta..
are you casting for captain marvel (DC comics)?
dwayne johnson for black adam, but it so hard to find captain marvel cast..
thanks..

Daniel blacklantern - 6/30/2009, 11:35 PM
The rock! ha ha ha!
Michael Galusick - 6/30/2009, 11:36 PM
@THEHAWK

maybe i missed him what about Lex Luthor.
SHHH - 6/30/2009, 11:37 PM
@Daniel blacklantern I like some of your ideas. I could see Common as Black Manta, he would be good for that.

I agree that Dwayne Johnson would be best as Black Adam, but the characters are drawn very similarly except for skin tone, and with a little make up he could be both!

@Mike. Don't mess the Rock.

@SHHH Lex Luthor wasn't in the League. Quit tying to confuse me?!?!?!?!?!
THEHAWK - 6/30/2009, 11:41 PM
@THEHAWK

not tryin to confuse
SHHH - 6/30/2009, 11:46 PM
Adam Sandler? no way in hell i would see this.

shia or tom welling as robin? yikes. too many other problems to mention but these take the cake for me.
grif - 7/1/2009, 12:04 AM
WHAT DO YOU MEAN1?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 12:05 AM
My only complaint is the casting of NPH. Did you just pick him because he's gay or does he actually look or act like hte character and just happens to be gay too?

I really like Tom Welling as Nightwing, I wonder how that story could work?

I have a few other choices for John Stewart, but yours is pretty spot on, mine are Shemar Moore for a young guy, or Michael Beach for an older guy, Dennis Haysbert is good for the part too.
HarrisonBergeron - 7/1/2009, 12:19 AM
@Grif I picked Adam sandler for it because he looks like the character and the character and the whole Justice League Antartica team was supposed to be a joke, it is made up of comedy relief characters.

@Harrison. I picked NPH because he looks like the guy. I like his acting style, I feel he exhibits some of the same mannerisms on his various performances like How I Met Your Mother, I also think his voice is right for the role, kinda how he voiced Flash in New Frontier. I'd also like to see him something that has a bit of a darker tone in it.
I also think it would be cool to see him play a mentally unbalanced guy

If you die his hair a darker brown he would look a lot like Todd Rice. Come to think of it he looks like a young Alan Scott, I need to keep this in mind if I ever cast the JSA.

I actually casted him for Obsidian about two years ago, before I found out about NPH being gay. Back when I wrote a story about Alan Scott. I actually only found out about it when Jen was reading over my casting choices, I don't follow ET or the tabloids and stuff that usually run those stories, i guess i should start before I cast someone one, because now I'm worried people will think I'm a homophobic prick.

Can we say prick on here?

I thought about Moore for John, but i have always wanted Haysbert for the role, he has the right age, skill, maturity and temperment I feel is required for the role. I gave that one a lot of thought because John is my favorite Lantern.
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 12:28 AM
@the hawk he is not funny. thats my point.
grif - 7/1/2009, 12:43 AM
@Grif. Well everyone has a different opinon, I don't think Seth Rogen is funny, but a lot of people do. I like the Daredevil movie, a LOT of people on here don't.
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 12:56 AM
I like ice-cream!!

Nice Job THEHAWK
teabag - 7/1/2009, 1:13 AM
I know I'm taking a break from here, but I couldn't let all of this hard work go uncomplimented!

Great work, Hawk! You too, Shaman & joslezio85! :D

I've seen alot of cool & intriguing characters, I never new existed on here! I'll have to go comic shopping again! lol :)

Hey, Shaman! The model's name is Christina aka EYE CANDY. You'll find her on the comic myspace profile. Do it, Dude! Her boyfriend's a dueche! (Don't tell her I said that! lol) She's one of my buddies (Darn it!) and she's been a HUGE help with my comic book covers! We're just friends/co-workers, so don't worry: She doesn't have my cooties. :)

ttyl Guys.

Tell KeepItReal I said: Purrrrrrr. ;)
SpiderMan209 - 7/1/2009, 1:19 AM
@Teabag. MMMMmmmm Ice cream

@Spider-man209. Thanks man! Good luck on your Comic man, let us know when it comes out, I will be sure to buy one!

Shaman and Joslezio85 were very helpful in this, they were able to give me a fresh opinion on my choices, and even suggest some like Hatosy for Red Arrow.

Oh and just a comment but I am finishing my Deadpool cast, and after that I may cast either the X-Men, Masters of Evil, Avengers, Spiderman's Rouge Gallery, or the Secret Society of Supervillains.

HAWK out.
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 1:37 AM
I am ok with most of this list, except for Power Girl. Elisha Cuthbert is nowhere near racked up enough for that part. Power Girl is kind of campy. It isn't taken too serious, hell her main selling point is that she is stacked and a distant relative of SuperMan.
l0rdleg0las - 7/1/2009, 3:35 AM
Damn, im off the PC for abit an WHAMMMM!!!

HOLY SHIT HAWK!!!

Bet that took some time!!!!

Very well done dude! ; )

Hell yeahhhh!!!! BRADLEY COOPER FOR GUY!

O'KEEFE FOR WW!!! ; )

Nice picks man, alot are spot on!!!
(I cant see TOM WELLING as NIGHTWING though)? An heroes boy a no no for BATS, damn he looks too much like CLOONEY! : D

Anyway imagine if they made a movie wiv that lot! Friggin' A!!!!

Yo, Can someone tell me how the FRAG you can put two pics 2gether????

Hey im puter thick! Heh heh. : D

Oh yeah an HAWK, luv how you kept ZATANNA! She is just perfect for the role! Nicely done!
LEEE777 - 7/1/2009, 3:44 AM
DC is gay. Nearly all those actors have already portrayed Marvel characters. Get your own actors DC!!!

*All in jest...not really) ;)
-The Colonel
TheColonel - 7/1/2009, 4:13 AM
I dont know quite a few of the character as I dont read DC tuff but they're some great casting choices! It must have taken a lot of patience to find all those (it drove me nuts just trying to cast 8 or 9 Avengers, lol!)
joshw24 - 7/1/2009, 6:04 AM
I love the cast hawk awesom job the only thing i have to say is that is hawkman and hawk girl supposed to be a running gag in the justice league or what because it seems like every section of the league has a hawkman and a hawkgirl
dogchasingcars - 7/1/2009, 6:32 AM
Nice article Hawk. That had to take you awhile. Good shit Man.
jman1977 - 7/1/2009, 7:01 AM
shit man great job. im just speechless. a lot of them looked like the character right down to the facial expression or pose in the picture even. great casting!
JeremyBentham - 7/1/2009, 7:03 AM
Love the casting. Having the pics really helped me with understanding your choices as to why you picked the people that you did. Helped me to agree with you on pretty much all of them.

I do have a question, though.
"42. Bloodwynd ---- Justice League America # 63 Active.
Bloodwynd is a African necromancer, who can speak to the dead and draws power from death energy.
----------Djimon Hounsou"
I thought that necromancy was a "–noun 1. a method of divination through alleged communication with the dead; black art.
2. magic in general, esp. that practiced by a witch or sorcerer; sorcery; witchcraft; conjuration."
So we have a hero that uses black magic. I think it would have been better if they'd said that he was a necroscope (thank you Brian Lumley!!!!).

necrosage2005 - 7/1/2009, 8:42 AM
DUde you took alot of time on this great pick... I would only make Scarlet at Power girl ... He's got bigger boobs...;-)

Overall it is great picks ... nice job the both of you ...
thegreek - 7/1/2009, 8:52 AM
Hawk, you are my hero. So many of these were just spot on. The only one that really bothered me was Jay Garrick. Sutherland looks way too old. What about Bruce Greenwood?
Amazing job nonetheless!
groundrunner15 - 7/1/2009, 9:05 AM
Most of these were some excellent choices.
Bandrews1 - 7/1/2009, 9:06 AM
Someone needs a life
cable82 - 7/1/2009, 9:10 AM
My only problem is you cast Natalie Portman as a character who wears a complete bodysuit. Love me some Natalie!
SpideyWidey - 7/1/2009, 9:23 AM
@l0rdleg0las. No actress, short of porn stars I could name a few, is stacked enough!

@Leee. Glad you liked them man. Get photoshop if you want to put two photos together.

@Colonel. I KNOW! Dc needs to get their own! lol

@Joshw. It wasn't that bad, getting the pictures took the longest amount of time.

@Dogchasingcars. no Hawkman and Hawkgirl are caught up in a cycle of reincarnation. They all are the reincarnated souls of Katar Hol and Shiera Hol, except for Fel Andar and Sharon Parker.

@Jman. Thanks dude!\

@Jeremy .Thanks dude, I thought so too.

@necrosage2005. They called it Necromancy on all the sites I checked. His powers are derived from the Blood Gem which is a gateway to another dimension, and the demon Rott claimed the souls of those killed by the Gem's magic.
He can summon the dead and draw on thier knowledge and energy, he can sense death as well.

@thegreek. i'm just not a Scarlett fan.
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 9:32 AM
@Groundrunner. There is a thought, nice idea. Thanks.

@Bandrews, Thanks dude.

@Cable. I have a very good life thank you. Maybe you need a life if you just come on to these sites to insult people.

@SpideyWidey. I like some Natalie too, I just think her voice is perfect for the role!
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 9:39 AM
THEHAWK: yeah, i know exactly what you mean. it was finding the same size pictures and lining them up that annoyed me most, lol! Meant to say before-Ryan Reynolds is a perfect choice for The Flash!
joshw24 - 7/1/2009, 10:42 AM
I know what you mean about matching sizes, it used to piss me off too, until I got photoshop, that makes things a lot easier, except for the fact that I still had to pick out 221 pictures!

This is the biggest casting on CBM, and I hope to one day out do it, maybe.
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 10:49 AM
Wow! Thats some job Hawk. A plethora of names there, some great, some good and some..truly stinkingly awful! But [frick] it, id pay to see em all in costume!
Rorschach01 - 7/1/2009, 11:19 AM
HAWK @ Ive got PHOTOSHOP lol????

An yeah, very good casting article ive ever seen on CBM! You've out did yourself on this one HAWK!

Damn good job! ; )
LEEE777 - 7/1/2009, 11:21 AM
@Ror. Thanks man, but are the characters or the actors "truly stinkingly aweful"

@LEEE. Thanks man!
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 11:39 AM
@ Hawk- I can respect that ... But she does have big gozongas
thegreek - 7/1/2009, 11:45 AM
Ive see bigger.
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 12:00 PM
O... My... Goldfish Crackers! HAWK... you have outdone even yourself this time.I don't know where to begin, so I am going to look at it all again just to fully absorb. I have to say that Ed Burns as Blue Beetle is my favorite cast on the page, my favorite among manymanymany worthy casts. I'll be back to comment more, I have some mixed feelings about some.
TheMyth - 7/1/2009, 12:03 PM
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Its like you went to Google and typed in tool, because thats what most of these played out over used actors are lol!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yohon Kalic - 7/1/2009, 12:05 PM
@Myth. Thanks man, that is probably my favorite as well. I look forward to your comments

@Yohon. Over used? I tried to stay away from big names, the only big ones i have up there are in minor roles. I mean look at some of the people I picked: Alexander Siddig, Josh Duhamel, Edward Burns, Camille Bell, Q'orianka Kilcher
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 12:18 PM
I am so tired of reading HAWK LOL. Nice job bro, to many Hawk girl/boy. Every one else already mentioned the time thing I won't go there.

As far as Big Booobbs go, Keep in mind gravity will win over sooner or later. I not a big breast man. CCCCCC size is nice, but nothing to damn big. LIke Dolly Parker.
Spock - 7/1/2009, 12:23 PM
Good job man!
Inohaku - 7/1/2009, 12:32 PM
Ouch Yohon, my balls hurt from that one. Keep the gloves up brother. We all know that in reality an incredible majority of these would be played by random extras if featured at all. I think HAWK did a great job pairing nearly all of them.

Green Arrow(Sutherland), Black Canary, Guy Gardner, Metamorpho, Wally West and Dark Flash, Power Girl, Clive Owen Hawkman, Kyle Rayner, Nightwing, and Bulleteer(cause Scarlett would still look hot and pull it off) my personal favs, with Blue Beetle being the most EPIC to me. HAWK, congrats on finally finishing this and getting it out there. It was worth the wait. Kudos to you!
TheMyth - 7/1/2009, 12:45 PM
i knew you could do it!
i disagree on about 10 of them..nightwing,GA,john stewart,hal,kyle...any earth gl

wonder twins????..... :)
snapper carr is my fav!
NightAvenger4 - 7/1/2009, 12:51 PM
@Spock. Thanks man. You're tired? How do you think I feel. lol

@Inohaku. Thanks

@Myth. I thought of Sutherland years ago when I saw Three Musketeers, because in one sceen he looked identical to Ollie. Thanks man I'm glad to finally have this done!

@NewAvengers4. Thanks man, did you like the Wonder Twins pick?

Up next Deadpool and friends!

HAWK out
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 2:17 PM
thanks for takin the time to put this together. its sweet
valeriesghost - 7/1/2009, 3:03 PM
no problem man!
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 3:08 PM
this is very impressive... like both on ur knowledge of actors and the characters.. but i still think its lame they're following marvels lead to try and put this together but maybe thats because i don't like superman? But Marvel is really genuine and i dont want to see their fire taken by i knock off
fotc - 7/1/2009, 4:53 PM
Thanks man

Well if the JLA had not been created then Stan Lee would never have been allowed to create the Fantastic Four, and all of the other great Marvel heroes, including the Avengers.

Plus DC has their heads up Superman and Batman's asses so we will probably wait another 12 years for a Justice League movie. I remember back when they said we would have a justice League movie in 2010, but we don't even have a script!
THEHAWK - 7/1/2009, 7:17 PM
Very, very good job thehawk. That must have taken forever. Only a few minor critiques. I didn't like the guys for Supes or Batman and Dennis Haysbert is too old to play John Stewart. Awesome, awesome job!!!
alcinde4 - 7/1/2009, 8:18 PM
great job I know that took along time to do now do it with marvel characters
Mista502 - 7/1/2009, 9:34 PM
HAWK - Excellent choices (on most). 108 is a LOT to do - you must be exhausted! I do have a FEW objections (personal tastes, I guess. Gee, go figure - right?):

"Actors who couldn't act their way out of a paper bag...":
Sean William Scott
Vin Diesel
Brian Austin Green

"Pure eye-candy - haven't really DONE anything to justify a role in this":
Eva Longoria Parker
Scarlet Johansson (we'll see about her in 'Iron Man 2', but I'm NOT holding my breath...)

"Possible mis-cast":
Elisha Cuthbert - no offense, but does she have the 'balls' (for lack of a better term) to play Power Girl?

"She hasn't done anything note-worthy since puberty":
Kirsten Dunst (plus, she's not that good-looking - sorry all you Kirsten/MJ fans out there...)

"He hasn't done anything note-worthy since 'Butterfly Effect":
Aston Kutcher

"Oh HELL NO!":
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson - Black Adam? Yes. Captain Marvel? NO... HELL NO!!! (Have you seen my avitar?!)

"I'd rather clean all the bathrooms in Central Station with my TONGUE!":
Vince Vaughn
Adam Sandler
Jim Carrey
Dane Cook
Will Ferrell

...and finally, Zan & Jayna - you're kidding, right?
loganoneil - 7/1/2009, 11:16 PM
@alcinde4. I think Haysbert could still do a great John, he has the maturity, he looks like someone that was an ex marine and experienced architect.

@mista502. I plan on it, it will be a lot easier since there are a lot less Avengers!

@ loganoneil.This may take a while

I won't argue Vin Diesel, everyone but me seems to hate him. I would usually agree on Sean William Scott, I believe him to be the most annoying man alive, but I believe he is the perfect choice for Booster Gold. I just like BAG i think he would be good in the role.

Eva is a pretty good choice for Menagerie(however it is spelled)

Elisha, with a little padding, has the chops to play Power Girl.

Dunst is another of those that would be impossible to argue, for she is hated by many.

I'm sorry man I mean no offense, but are you familiar with Snapper? There is a reason I gave him the number 0. Honestly Kutcher was more intelligent in 'Dude Wheres my Car' than Snapper is in half of his appearances(that I've seen anyway)

I am open to suggesstions for the Big Red Cheese, that was the one choice I was least happy with.

I see you are not a fan of my Justice League Antartica cast.

Are you not pleased with my picks for the Wonder Twins, or just the people I cast for them. They were actually a part of the League.

This was in order of when they joined the League.

THEHAWK - 7/2/2009, 12:10 AM
I bow in the pressence of your greatness
this was absolutely amazing
the only issue I have is Captain Marvel and its not even that big a deal
you sir are a true fan, well done
realfirstavenger - 7/2/2009, 12:32 AM
Thank you, you may rise. I too have issues with my Captain Marvel pick, but I honestly could not think of anyone else to use.
THEHAWK - 7/2/2009, 12:58 AM
Well done indeed brother and thanks for the shout out!!! In ALL honesty, there is not one cast actor that you put up there that i would flat out say NO to. They are all amazing choices which were obviously chosen for good reason, no further explanations needed. A few i'd change but only on account of preference since all your choices were adequate.

First off i just... i just... I have to reply to the people about Scarlet on here before even more blasphemy is uttered!!! Bulleteer sucks ass, and looks EXACTLY like Scarlet. I don't know how some of you can't see the resemblance but it is litterally the best casting choice on this page as in "accurateness". Supergirl and Powergirl are quite possibly the most beautiful faces to ever grace Dc's pages and it would be the most SACRILEDGIOUS act to ever cast Scarlet "Shitt Can, as a face" Johanson for either of them!!! Still can't get over her as BW. Elisha already has tremendous knockers and all it would take is a push-up bra to bring her to Powergirl girth. She is also one of the best possible pics HAWK did on here.

Yes some of the actors here can't act they're way out of a wet paper bag... or even a dry one for that matter but they are also cast as stupid characters so they are fitting.

And personally, i don't see a problem with The Rock as Captain Marvel. I never liked CM and The Rock is getting a bit better as he goes from movie to movie. He could very well bring more attention to a character that could obviously use it(not to mention desperately needs it). Might even make him a bit cooler as well as give The Rock a chance to prove himself in a more serious role, provided WB make CM a serious character and not a pre-school kid's wet dream. No offense Loganoneil, to each's own but i'm really not alone on the "Not digging CM" bandwaggon. At least, he didn't cast Vin Diezel as CM where i know alot of fan boys would LOL :P

Now, for the pics i'd change on account of preference. John Stewart, also my favorite GL, would be given justice by Haysbert, no questions asked BUT one actor out there looks so much like JS it's not funny and is younger for the role as well. I think Leonard Roberts has the perfect look, build and range for John Stewart. Your Oracle pic was very decent as well but i still think that the actress who already portrayed the character in the TV series of "Birds of Prey" would be best and not to mention the fact that she's even hotter than Amy. So Dina Meyer for Orcale. AND THAT'S THE BALLGAME!!! So 2, yet decently cast, out of 108 IMHO is a WORLD RECCORD given the fact that i am very picky!!! Mad mad maaaaaaddd props to you HAWK!!!

SpiderMan209 7/1/2009 1:19 AM

"Hey, Shaman! :)"

Dude, those pictures of Christina were smokin' hot!!! Sadly she looks nothing like that in her myspace pics. Almost as if they were two separate people LOL

CANNOT possibly wait for your comic!!! Again, you haven't answered my question!!! What's it gonna be??? Free Online, Pay Online, actually published on paper, WHAT??? COME ON!!! Give us a teaser, a sourcebook, a #1/2, a scketched preview, SOMETHING BEFORE OCTOBER!!!! This waiting is way too [frick]ing long!!!!! Give the dog a bone brother!!! :))
Shaman - 7/2/2009, 7:22 AM
@the HAWK
i dont know how to post picture (tell me how to post a picture) in here but look at this one.. maybe you like it.
http://www.geocities.com/renom1/rock-adam.jpg

why not jesse bradford cast for GL (kyle rayner)?
i casting for teen titans and i choose jared padalecki for nightwing.. he's look great for it..
morris chestnut for GL (john stewart)
sean william scott for guy gardner
scar jo for power girl.. she's got boobs!!
thanks for hawk, shaman and joslezio for this..

Daniel blacklantern - 7/2/2009, 8:23 AM
You know, the ugliest women in the world have HUGE BOOBS, still doesn't make them right for Powergirl's role!!! Elisha has BOOBS too and a slight padding would totally give the character justice!!!
Shaman - 7/2/2009, 9:04 AM
uhhmm..
ok shaman.. i accept that.. thanks..
maybe she can play as supergirl too..
Daniel blacklantern - 7/2/2009, 9:30 AM
THEHAWK-i thought your wonder twins casting was brilliant, its just so funny that you thought of them........
NightAvenger4 - 7/2/2009, 9:46 AM
True, Elisha could be a decent Supergirl. But i find that there are more choices for Supergirl that wouldn't necessarily fit Powergirl. I think Powergirl is harder to cast.

Yeah, those wonder twins suck and so do the actors so it was a match made in heaven LOL :P
Shaman - 7/2/2009, 9:46 AM
@Shaman. Thanks man.

I'm glad someone agrees with my pick for Scarlet Jo, she should not be anywhere near Supergirl. And I'm glad you liked my Power Girl pick, the choices for her are pretty hard, especially if you stay above porn stars.

I honestly am not familiar with Roberts, so I can't comment on him, but visually he looks right. I always wanted someone older for John, I mean he is a veteran Marine turned architect, he should be in his late 30s early 40s, in my opinion anyway.

I thought about Dina for Oracle, but i wanted someone closer to Tom Wellings age, because I have them in my next story as Robin and Barabara Gordon(pre Batgirl) I'm thinking of replacing her with someone younger, I like Evan Rachel Wood for the role, what do you guys think?

And the Wonder Twins, perhaps one of the worst concepts created, so I felt it was only natural to cast sibling actors for the role. On a side note why is everyone crazy about Jake playing Spiderman? He is not-all-of-that-and-a-bag-of-potato-chips.

Well 2 out of 108(actually 109, but Snapper doesn't count lol) isn't bad!

@Daniel. Ok what you do is get an image and save it to your computer as a JPEG. Then go under members here on the site, click on my articles (If you have a fansite, if not make one it is easy). Go down to 'new article' and click on it. Go down to where you see 'Embed Image(s)/Image Management' click on it and it should open up the Manage Images in another page. Now from the New Article page go back to CBM's main page, while making sure the Manage Images is kept open.

Go into the Manage Images page. from there click on 'upload images' and click 'Browse' to look for images on your computer. CLick on the one(s) you want to upload. After it is done uploading click next and it will bring uo the Current Image List, from there copy the Embed codes and paste them in your comments.

That should do it. Oh and after you get it set up Curretn Image List will come up first under Manage Images.

Or you could do like LEEE777 does and open a free Photobucket account.

THEHAWK - 7/2/2009, 12:41 PM
Oh and Shaman, I cast one of your demi-Goddesses in my upcoming Nick Fuury story. A miss Carla Gunigo
THEHAWK - 7/2/2009, 12:44 PM
Good point about JS, and yes, Haysbert fits that late 40s description. For Powergirl, maybe they could find a porn star that can actually act. That way we could have two very character accurate versions of the film LOL :P One for kids and one for daddies LOL :P I get what you're saying about the age difference between Oracle and Nightwing, in that case i'd nominate Rachel McAdams even though i'd prefer her as Andrea Beaumont/The Phantasm. But Evan Rachel Wood is even younger still and i'm sure would do the job most superbly :) I'm not into Jake PERIOD. I'm just saying, if they ever needed a lookalike to replace McGuire, Jake could do the trick. And this isn't Eddie Murphy Delirious here m'ah f'ackah LOL GUNIGOOGOO LOL It's Carla Gu "gino" :P
Shaman - 7/2/2009, 1:02 PM
@Shaman---I haven't gotten to that point yet. It'll be an actual printed on paper comic book: ten-issue limted series to start.

I'll keep you posted on a future thread! :)
SpiderMan209 - 7/2/2009, 1:05 PM
I like Evan Rachel Wood, in fact I recently cast her in an X-Force casting i am working on!
@Spidey209 We're waiting for it man!
THEHAWK - 7/2/2009, 1:17 PM
This was must have been quite the task for you and I applaud u for the effort man. I won't critigue your selection because you really put yourself out there with this casting. Also keep tryin to push out scripts man, the movie industry needs someone who is a true comic fan, but a good story teller to be responsible for a script. I am working on a an x-men cast that I think should be really interesting, some selection should really shock people if not be the catalist to a good debate. You actually helped me out with some pics, so I'll give you credit ahead of time.
midnightexp26 - 7/2/2009, 10:18 PM
Thanks man, I am working on a script for an indy film, that I hope will sell, it is a murder mystery.

Good luck on your casting man, i know for a fact that it is harder than most people think. How many of the x-Men are ypu casting?

Good Luck.

HAWK out.
THEHAWK - 7/2/2009, 10:24 PM
SpiderMan209- SWEEEEEEEEEEEEETTT!!!!! :))

THEHAWK - 7/3/2009, 9:45 AM
Hey guys after the 4th I most likely won't be around for a week or two, so leave comments and I will answer your post upon my return.

Thank you for all of your positive replies and views! Keep it real

THEHAWK - 7/3/2009, 9:39 PM
HAWK - Don't get me wrong, I love Elisha (with both her look AND her acting ability), I just can't remember seeing her in anything that conveyed the gravitas and attitude of Power Girl (thus the doubt). She's definately got 'the look', and I've been surprised before (by actors that CAN act - and I know she can), so maybe I'm in for a little smile and an 'I told you so..." :)

As for the Vince Vaughn/Adam Sandler/Jim Carrey/Dane Cook/Will Ferrell comedy snack-pack (I know I'm going to be crucified for this but...), I just don't like them. They're NOT actors and they're NOT funny (so what good are they?). Their humor is this annoying juvenile brand of bodily functions, smart-assed one-liners and physical slapstick that (quite frankly) has been re-hashed to DEATH in all their other films! Guys, give it up or GET SOME ACTUAL TALENT!

I just mentioned Zan and Jana because I only remembered them from 'The Superfriends' cartoon. Because their origin is techincally from there, can you REALLY count them as ACTUAL Justice League members? It's kinda' like Marvel's Firestar - yeah, she DID have a short-lived life in the comics, but her origins were from that crappy 'Spider-Friends' show of the 80's...
loganoneil - 7/4/2009, 3:18 PM
Hey got a while before my flight so I was able to check your question.

Yeah the Wonder Twins are actually in the DC universe, they appeared in Extreme Justice #9, where they fought and eventually joined the League. I know they suck, but they were active members of the actual League, so I had to cast them.

Well wish me lluck on the honeymoon, I can't wait for this plane.

HAWK out.
THEHAWK - 7/4/2009, 6:06 PM
Love the pics for Huntress and Animalman
Spilox - 7/6/2009, 1:19 AM
loganoneil- I'm gonna have to agree with pretty much everything you've said there. Those guys did however make one or two at the most that made me giggle but i mean... it got old too quick. I mean that cow got blisters from getting milked so much. Can anyone say GANG-RAPE!!! And i hope we do see the day where we can say "i told you so" but i highly doubt it will ever happen. Elisha has better chances of being cast as Supergirl.

This combo would kick ass for the next film:

Rufus Sewell as General Zod
Malin Akerman as Ursa (i doubt they ever do a sequel to Watchmen)
Routh as his own Superman for a change
and Elisha as Supergirl :))

Enjoy these pics:

Shaman - 7/6/2009, 11:21 AM
@THEHAWK

Man how did decide when you were done? As I mentioned before I am creating a cast for x-men and I am almost done but there are a couple characters I am having problems with finishing. Either I can not find a good actor to play the part or I can't decide between two or sometimes three actors or actresses that I think would do the character justice. What did you do when u had those problems?
midnightexp26 - 7/7/2009, 4:41 PM
Shaman - BRILLIANT!!!! Rufus Sewell in ANYTHING (he'd make an EPIC Zod!!!). Excellent casting - I'd even go for Routh as Kal (just as long as they get away from dorky Clark). It was fun back in the 70's, but I believe it's time for a make-over!
loganoneil - 7/7/2009, 7:13 PM
Took the words right out of my mouth, Loganoneil!!! I know eh? Just look at that pic of Sewell and honestly tell me it looks nothing like Zod LOL :P He's perfection!!! Never thought i would ever think of an actor that could fill Terence Stamp's shoes as Zod!!!
Shaman - 7/8/2009, 10:33 AM
Hey Guys, got back from the honeymoon last night, it was a blast, several actually ;)

@midnightexp26

Sorry man, got back from my honeymoon late last night and posted a Nick Fury story, so this is the first chance I've had to check e-mail.

I have had that problem many a time, I myself did an X-Force casting a while back, before the Justice League, but I have yet to post it. When you have trouble finding the correct acctor for the role google some of the characters attributes.

Say you are doing Jubilee. Google Asian actresses. Or young actresses. this will often pull up sites with pictures and bios of actors, and that can be helpful, you can check out some of the peoples films and see if you like them or know them.

I was in a situation a while back whenI did my Wonder Woman casting, where I couldn't choose between two actors for a character, these were Josh Lucas/Jude Law for Steve Trevor. So i casted them both because they each express qualities the character ahs had at different times in the comics.

Hey man if you ever want any help with castings, just ask me, I'd be more than happy to help.

Thanks Spilox ;)

@Shaman. Holy freakin Crap Batman! That is probably the best replacement for Terrence Stamp's awesomness as Zod!
I think Will Ferrell and Sandler have some talent, but only if they stay away from some of these God awful movies that are the same thing every time. My favorite performances of theirs are in films that are different from thier norms

Sandler was good in Click, it actually showed he has some skill. I hate Will Ferrell with a passion, but I liked him in Stranger Than Fiction

THEHAWK - 7/21/2009, 1:06 AM
great casting...
only bad thing really is the rock as captain marvel. he should play his nemesis, black adam
brycied - 7/21/2009, 1:16 AM
Thanks man,

Well, I think with a little make up he could do both, but as I said I would definately prefer im as Black Adam.
