@Gaston, are you kidding me? Didn't you watched Watchmen yet? Snyder made an entirely different ending from the comics! No "faithfulness nor respect for the source material" there, sorry...

I like Christopher Nolan's movies more, but his direction isn't the best, that would go to JON FAVREAU. Joe Johnson gets a shoutout from me. Done.

Never been a big fan of Burton's style, but I can't deny what he has done. Burton and Nolan are probably the only ones I even thought about. While I don't think Nolan is the greatest director of all time or anywhere near there yet, his work makes most of the others on here look like amateurs.

I voted for Zack Snyder, you may or may not like his style and his movies, but he has his own style and he has developed on that style with each movie, making a name for himself. Christopher Nolan also has a style, he directed the best CBM ever (sorry Trolls) but Snyder has an enthusiasm and passion for his work that it's kind of hard to find in Nolan, maybe because their personalities are different and Nolan is more serious and quiet about his movies.

I enjoy Snyder's movies, I loved Sucker Punch. The rest of directors are good or ok, but they don't have an style that sets them apart from the rest. Matthew Vaughn been the only exception with 2 great CBMs under his belt, including the best CBM of 2011, thus I place him number 3 in my list.
