	I think it's also important to remember that, in continuity, Stark would have HAD to build a new suit because the Mark III was almost completely destroyed at the end of "Iron Man"...maybe I liked the design of the Mark III and just rebuilt it, while making minor changes...and from a real-world standpoint, even if his armor wasn't destroyed, it wouldn't look exactly the same in this movie, than's not the way movies work. You don't get s costume for one movie and use it in the sequel as well, you get a new costume. sometimes the designers see things they want to alter in order to make the design look better but not completely change the look of a character. Example(s)--The Terminator and Hellboy The Endoskeleton looks slightly different in T-1 and T-2 because Stan Winston figured out a better way to design it once he was given a second opportunity. Hellboy's coat goes from leather to canvas in order to allow the actor more freedom of movement So, to me at least, it's not THAT shocking that it doesn't look that drastically different. contrast - 7/23/2009, 12:32 PM

	just like all the original bat-man suits and the 2 for dark knight. Each sequel they found ways to make it lighter and more manuverable. Especialy the newest batman suit. Finaly he can turn his head. Im sure they found a way to make the suit lighter and more flexible/ergonomic. Plus Id bet most would be a little disapointed if they used the exact same suit in Iron Man 2. Also spot on Contrast. In all the terminator movies they have different chasis. T-800 101's, T-808's , T-888 and more. Every time a movie came out they improved on the design so had to come up with a reason so it ended up adding catagories. vonstallin - 7/23/2009, 12:48 PM
	another good example is the fantastic four. movie one the costumes look like a cool skin tight textured space fabric with a metal plate logo, then the second movies the costumes are more of a spandex with a plastic logo. the desings of the suits remain the same but look retarded as a result of such a simple change. the new suit looks good but i have to admit, i like the first better. i have a sneaking suspicion the movie won't be taken as well as the first critically, but fans will undoubtedly praise it for it's tribute to the marvel universe. oh and apparently tony's not trying to compensate for anything package wise in this movie because it appears he see's no reason for as much crotch space as the first. blacksword7 - 7/23/2009, 1:07 PM

	~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't think this suit (pic below) will be in the movie, it says Iron Man 2 but it obviously not movie CGI, its most likely from the new Iron man 2 video game. If you look at the art behind him it even looks like the blue print pictures that are all over the new Trailer for the video game If you look at this trailer he is in the mark III most likely going to upgrade to the newer mark IV. 	That would be weird if there is no crimson dynamo, cause then that would be 2 movies that they would suddenly change there mind about him at the last minute.
