The Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths Trailer

The trailer for the upcoming DCU animated movie! Coming in the spring of 2010.
An original story from award-winning animation/comics writer Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League) rooted in DC Comics’ popular canon of “Crisis” stories.

Bruce Timm (Superman Doomsday, Green Lantern) is executive producer.
Lauren Montgomery (Wonder Woman, Green Lantern) and Sam Liu (Superman/Batman: Public Enemies) are co-directors.

In Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, a “good” Lex Luthor arrives from an alternate universe to recruit the Justice League to help save his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, a gang of villainous characters with virtually identical super powers to the Justice League. What ensues is the ultimate battle of good versus evil in a war that threatens both planets and, through a diabolical plan launched by Owlman, puts the balance of all existence in peril.

All-star voice cast led by Mark Harmon (NCIS) as Superman, James Woods (Ghosts of Mississippi) as Owlman, Chris Noth (Sex and the City, Law & Order) as Lex Luthor, William Baldwin (Dirty Sexy Money) as Batman, Gina Torres (Serenity, Firefly) as Super Woman and Bruce Davison (X-Men) as the President.

Looks pretty good I'll have to check it out
Kratos6 - 11/11/2009, 8:02 AM
This is going to be brilliant!!

I have some unrelated questions I hope someone can answer me.

BET was suppose to air a Black Panther cartoon. Does anyone know if and when this will air?

Also, Marvel was to release a DVD movie of Thor. I think it's to be called Tales of Asgard. It was supposed to be released this Fall but I've heard nothing.

Does anyone know about these projects?
Angelo - 11/11/2009, 8:28 AM
this looks good i cant wait. when are they going to do a Green Arrow and The Flash animated movie
jazzman - 11/11/2009, 8:30 AM
Black Panther is still in development. Tales of Asgard will be released next Spring.
MultiPurposePoni - 11/11/2009, 8:46 AM
Excellent!! Thanks Multi!!
Angelo - 11/11/2009, 8:56 AM
this is gonna be awesome
CaptainCanada - 11/11/2009, 9:34 AM
Man this gets me excited and pumped so much I want to see it now. Then I realize that it doesn't come out until next spring then that makes me mad. Man, it's tough to have to wait that long just for an animated movie. Better than waiting till 2011 or 2012(Spidey movie, Avengers, Batman 3)
airbeyonder18 - 11/11/2009, 9:36 AM
Great find... Looking forward to seeing this DC movie too ... LEE is right all there animated movies have been GOLD ...
thegreek - 11/11/2009, 9:50 AM
So many trailers making this a great week
tyko450 - 11/11/2009, 9:55 AM
Does the president at the end remind anyone else a little of Nick Fury
tyko450 - 11/11/2009, 9:57 AM
Looks great, and story looks good too.

SkunkApe1 - 11/11/2009, 9:59 AM
Looking forward to it. Haven't checked out public enemies yet though
StrangeCosmic - 11/11/2009, 10:08 AM
@tyko450: Yes, that was my first thought, I was like "What? What's Nick Fury doing in this film?"
airbeyonder18 - 11/11/2009, 10:19 AM
Damn! This looks great!
Betty - 11/11/2009, 10:32 AM
i'll never understand how adults can get hard-ons from cartoons. lmaooo

trailer looks nice.
InFamouslyCool - 11/11/2009, 10:53 AM
I think the president is deathstroke, he has an eye patch too.
thwhtGuardian - 11/11/2009, 11:16 AM
"Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern.. and the rest of the Justice League." What the [frick]?! The Flash doesn't get an honorable mention? What kind of bullshit is that?

It's The Flash for [frick] sakes. I hope they don't Nerf the Flash in this one like the constantly did in the JLU series (minus the epic battle with Luthor when he [frick]ed his shit up). Also, why does the evil counterpart of Superman sound like an angry Italian mafioso, like he's from the Sopranos?

"Eh-oh, oh-eh, nice fricken planet ya got, wiseguy"
WeaponX - 11/11/2009, 11:43 AM
This is extrodinarily epic!!!
TheSoulEater - 11/11/2009, 11:52 AM
Those four characters are considered DC's "big 4"..It used to be just the Big 3 but Lantern is getting more exposure these days! Anyway, looks great as all DC animated features tend to be. I wasn't overly impressed by Public Enemies mind you..but I may have been expecting too much. Seriously, James frakking Woods! Can anyone tell me one well know voice actor that has ever appeared in a Marvel animated movie? Anyone?
RorMachine - 11/11/2009, 11:59 AM
I was a bit dissapointed with Public Enemies. A lot of people hated Gotham Knight but I like the standard of animation and the Killer Croc and field test stories. I just wish DC and Marvel could get anime studios to do their animation for these DVD titles
Photobucket
breakUbatman - 11/11/2009, 12:29 PM
@ Multi: huh? wuzzat? Tales of Asgard? Is that an animated film they are making?

I have like two one shot issues of two different marvel comics called "Tales of Asgard" and they are both pretty good.

I wonder if it's based on one of those.
SixSixteen - 11/11/2009, 12:47 PM
They should have gotten Kevin Conroy to voice Batman
Superman4 - 11/11/2009, 12:53 PM
Boy this LOOKS GOOD to me....Yea Leee777 Im with you these movies are good for dvd, but not the big screen give me live-action.
BLADE4040 - 11/11/2009, 2:32 PM

I'm down. Hopefully this will be better than BS: Public Enemies, which was a bit of a disappointment to me.
BillyBlack - 11/11/2009, 3:03 PM
Yeah public enemies kinda sucked. They need to make a Civil war animated movie.
MsKyle08 - 11/11/2009, 5:34 PM
they mention the entire league in this movie besides the flash. WTF?
grif - 11/11/2009, 6:49 PM
Looks EPIC! Got to see this.
@grif- I KNOW! WTF indeed. List the "Power Hitters", but no mention of The Flash... BULL S@%+!!!
Magicfingers - 11/11/2009, 7:23 PM
Well, Rorschach, that is a valid point - but still The Flash needs to be respected.
WeaponX - 11/11/2009, 9:36 PM
they didn't list the martian man hunter either, it's just a trailer they're not going to do a justice league roll call. Those are the more popular heroes so they get named.
thwhtGuardian - 11/11/2009, 9:39 PM
But Manhunter is dead. Also, the trailer showed Martian Manhunter about 3-4 times, The trailer shows The Flash the most out of everyone - he practically dominates most of the trailer footage - and he still doesn't get mentioned? It's weak. I get "the big 3" are mentioned, it's a given there and Green Lantern is on the rise what with the Blackest Night in full swing and a live action film in the works as well as just starring in his own DVD not too long ago - but c'mon! The fastest man alive gets no love? If they are going to venture out of the big three, they could have at least mentioned two more names. Or maybe the name of that guy in red who is in nearly every frame of trailer footage. Shoving him in as "those other two" is so very undeserving of the character who can knock someone as durable as Superman on their ass.
WeaponX - 11/11/2009, 10:53 PM
Once again, they're going to try to sum up an epic story in 80 minutes. Didn't work with Superman: Doomsday, it's not going to work here. Just not enough time to tell the story. I'll still watch it though... y'know... for my kids...
batfan39 - 11/12/2009, 8:14 AM
Trailer looked, good, animation is a lot better from what I can tell compared to Public Enemies. Though judging by DC's record with animated films, this will fall short and will end up as a rental.
Stumblin - 11/12/2009, 10:59 AM
One question: I thought Batman and Owlman were counterparts from different earths. In other words, they are both Bruce Wayne. Then why two different voice actors? Do I have it wrong?
niknik - 11/12/2009, 11:15 AM
SWEET!!!
MarkV - 11/12/2009, 1:56 PM
Nikik:

I think they are going with the idea of similar archetypes, rather than identical beings. But they kind of violate there own rules with Lex Luthor and that Red Arrow dude.
MarkV - 11/12/2009, 1:58 PM
Hey guys, that ProjectZedin keeps editing everything I say on his article LOL just because I said I didn't really like his cast he edited it to say that I loved it and everything ????? its doing my head in man
Ryden - 11/12/2009, 4:41 PM
Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps are two of the best selling books this year. How great is that we get to see HAL JORDAN mix it up with the Justice League. Finally getting the spot he deserves.

Flash is great too, can't think of any reason why this character isn't as popular as the others compared to the trinity and now GL. I think it's because of the changes in character? Barry dying and Wally taking the role, then Barry coming back... maybe? I don't even know who I like best as Flash.

They should do a Brave and the Bold movie. Hal Jordan and Barry Allen kicking it.
AlexDeLarge - 11/12/2009, 10:38 PM
Gotham Knight was more of an "experiment" than an actual movie. It's an anthology of stories with different animators and storytellers.

In my opinion it succeeded on what they were trying to do. Good stuff.
AlexDeLarge - 11/12/2009, 10:40 PM
Looks pretty cool. Too bad they didnt get Batman TAS and Superman TAS voice actors. Oh well, still looks pretty neat.

There has been a Red Arrow, just Oliver Queen wasnt him. It was Roy aka Speedy lol.
akthunder - 11/13/2009, 8:55 AM
If only they could put the same amount of effort into making live-action films!
Bijous - 11/13/2009, 11:59 AM
Agre Bijous.
The comics cartoons are more epic, some movies are boring and goofy.
OSCURO - 11/13/2009, 1:02 PM
Owlman looks so badass...hopefully we may see crisis on infinite earths someday. Any other story lines worth doing? I would love to see Superman: Red Son. This should be interesting, who has better animation investments DC or Marvel? I seen most of the DC animated movies, and a few of Marvel's....I think DC is ahead of them because they are making interesting and action packed stories, though some are short, not many hitting past 70 minutes, i would love to see them make a 90 minute epic. Oh I know a good one, my guess is that this will be the next for DC entertainment- Teen Titans: The Judas Contract
