First Look at Kato in The Green Hornet!

Superherohype received a first look at a stunt double for Jay Chou in costume as Kato on the Los Angeles set of The Green Hornet, as well as photos of Seth Rogen, Cameron Diaz and Chou in action!Check them out below!







Directed by Michel Gondry, the comic book adaptation also star Nicolas Cage, Edward James Olmos, David Harbour and Tom Wilkinson. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2010.

still looks promising.I mean....he admits he is a comic nerd.So he's probably gonna take it serious.you guys can bash all you want....but i believe Rogen will do a good job.I would like to see clips though as well.

Wow, he looks just as entertaining and attractive as Sammo Hung... which is really not a compliment. And the more i see of Seth in the role, the less i like what i see. I really hope they blow my mind with the trailer cause these pics sure ain't helping their cause.

SdProphet90- True, set pics are set pics. But Ironman2's set picks were able to still look good even though they didn't show much. It's not a crime to actually say out loud how bad these pics are. It doesn't mean that the film will be bad... but these pics are nothing but! The Last Airbender's pics also looked better than Drangonball:E's.

Shaman I agree 100% if the pics are aweful they are but to base the whole movie on set pics not even film stills it's like reall? Tools is the best word to describe it haha

Horrible Kato. Granted Chow isn't the best looking Kato; but this guy looks like they pick a beggar of the streets to play him.

Hopefully they don't have any closeups of the stunt double in the movie. He looks creepy like he should be driving a van with the words "free candy" on the side.

@SdProphet90 i totally agree, and i've realised that everyone here hates comic book movies now on comicbookmovie.com, yep i said it, cause you guys are basically saying it, COMIC BOOK FANS (like you) HAVE NO RESPECT FOR COMIC BOOK MOVIES ANYMORE!

@Shaman the reason the Iron Man 2 photos were all hype was because its a sequel to a successful film, everything else is about to make its debut yet everyone else is bitching about them

terrible, and now they're just rushing on top of it just to try and get this thing made. the original green hornet was taken off because of violence and it not being suitable for children (as was the campy batman). never thought i'd see the day when we'd have a reversal. A campy hornet and a serious batman.

Im not gonna judge this movie till I see it. Otherwise I would be all over it for Seth Rogan playing the lead. But since I never saw the first movie and have no sense of what it was then what it could be is completely open to me. Should be fun what they make.

The last picture of Cameron Diaz looks like she stepped in dog shit.

I hope this movie does good, and you cant base how good the movie is going to be on the first few pictures.

... this is an insult to bruce lee, the best kato/ martial artist ever. i would've only accepted brandon lee, but we all know what happened there...
i am a huge seth rogen fan, but i have no idea why he is the lead role in this...
idk, i'm going to watch this, but i'm not going to say that i don't already have bad muju...

The guy has got talent, anyone who has seen Curse of th Golden Flower can vouch for that.
I guarantee that if this movie has anything going for it, it is the fact that Jay Chou is Kato.

Only Twilight tweens and losers disect setshots to this extent, how about reserving judgement for when some footage comes along at least...

Roar- That's not what the title says. It says first look at Kato. That's not Kato, Chou is Kato. So it is misleading. When i click on an article that tells me it's about pics, i look at the pics. I don't read the article.

lilej2- Ironman 2 was an example. Last Airbender was another and a bunch of other comic book films have had better set pics than this. The film might be good but THE FACT is that these pics SUCK!!! To a point where we "comic book movie fans" AND this film's production team would have benefited from not having them shown.
