Now that we all know that Ben Affleck is crowned as the next Dark Knight by WB, and a filming location recently confirmed as Michigan, now news are showing up with possible jaunts to Morocco to film the Meteor Crash scenes. The sequel is expected to hire around 400 people in the area.

Stated by CONTACTMUSIC.COM that a Meteor Crash scene will be filmed in Morocco for the New Man Of Steel 2 movie.
Now this sparks a lots questions to what can the meteor mean to the movie, could it be the Superman's ever so green glowing rock form his home planet KRYPTONITE ? Or could it be some other alien like LOBO or or an artificial life form like Brainiac ?

For now nothing is for sure but for the location where some of the scene is to be filmed.

Zach Snyder stated “Detroit is a great example of a quintessential American city, and I know it will make the perfect backdrop for our movie.”

“This project will further strengthen the reputation of Michigan and metro Detroit as a premier film destination,” said Margaret O’Riley, director of the Michigan Film Office. “We look forward to the spotlight shining on our incredibly talented workforce and the businesses that support our film industry here in Michigan.” (Detroit Free Press)

Amy Adams, Lawrence Fishburn and Diane Lane all are said to return to the franchise with addition of Ben Affleck as Batman, while the casting of Breaking Bad’s Cranston as Lex Luthor is still unconfirmed.
