Monster Island News discovered the official concept art from Legendary Studios’ upcoming Godzilla reboot through a report on the website of Augmented Reality specialists "Talking Dog." Check out the official concept art below.

Epic. Now check out what "Talking Dog" said about the image.

"This week, Legendary Pictures is at San Diego’s Comic-Con International, the world’s biggest comics and pop culture convention, celebrating the beginning of production on their next film: Godzilla. Persons attending the conference will receive a t-shirt with an image of the new Godzilla, and when they look at themselves in a webcam at the Legendary Pictures tradeshow booth, they’ll see a superimposed animation of Godzilla’s “atomic breath” shooting out into the air in front of them from Godzilla’s mouth, complete with black smoke rising from the flames and the ground-shaking bellow of Godzilla’s instantly recognizable roar."

Now check out this video with a demo of what the t-shirt can do.

as long as they fix those ears lol. It looks like a mix of the original and the '98 version.

is this going to be an animation or what?

I'm semi happy with this design. On the plus side it actually looks like Godzilla this time, however it looks like Legendary pictures is going with the Godzilla 2000 look. I was never a fan of the design because I always thought Godzilla lacked that proud dragon-esque look of strength. The chest needs to be puffed out, the shoulders need to be firm and upright, and the dorsal fins need to have a more traditional look to them. But with that said, I think they're heading in the right direction
