Son Goku Revealed In New DBZ Saiyan Saga Promo

Check out Son Goku full in costume in this promo for the upcoming live action DragonBall Z project, Saiyan Saga! This film is looking oodles better than the Fox version.

That single still at the bottom is better and more entertaining than the entire Dragonball: Evolution movie. This fan film/trailer cannot possibly go wrong, if for that alone.

Looks cool, but I'm not so sure because it's dark.
Atleast he looks like a fighter unlike evolution.

I KNOW DBZ was created in Japan, but Goku doesn't theoretically have to look Asian.

Goku, Vegeta, all the saiyans and Piccolo aren't from Earth. I actually thought Justin Chatwin wasn't bad per se, its the terrible script more than anything.

So [frick] this, an asian Goku? that ruins the image I've had of him as a child

Wow. First Ruroni Kenshin and now DBZ?!!!!! I need to move to Japan. What's next Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakisho, Bleach, Naruto? My vote is on Trigun.

I think DBZ is SO freaking amazing. I just wish we could get a serious big budget film with these characters. And like with most anime MOST of the characters dont look asian. And Goku isn't from earth so to heck with him looking asian.

I would KILL to see Frieza saga on the big screen!!

....screw this mess...

I like how when Chatwin was revealed to be Goku, everyone complained he was white, and now in this project an asian actor is Goku and everyone is complaining he is asian.

Think of it this way guys, GOKU looks more or less like everyone else in DRAGONBALL right? I mean, he doesn't have a drastically different skin tone or facial features right? Well, if CHI CHI, MASTER ROSHI, and especially YAMCHA (whom he looks VERY similar to) are undisputedly Asian, wouldn't it stand to reason that GOKU looks Asian himself???

Yeah, the problem is that most of the budget must have gone to pay the rights of the franchise, as is one of the most famous anime's in history it's rights are very expensive.

Intruder...that is the most well said thing in the history of things that are said. Hollywood has a budget...yet they produce crap a lot.

Also, i didn't get the memo that we would have to go to comicbookmovie.com/news.... i was beginning to think the Error Maintenance screen was going to be here forever! Someone could have sent me the memo :P lol

Fcuk, I forgot about that fcuking cat!!! Haha, well I still don't understand how making them all Asian is worse/better than making them all Asian. JESSICA ALBA is what happens when you mix a whole sh!t load of races together. She claims Mexican/German now for simplicity sake, but when she first became famous I remember reading an interview where she explained her full heritage, and it was everything from black to polish. Don't know why I felt it necessary to share that with you, but there it is, lol.

Honestly, who gives a sh!t, I'm just happy that people who LOVE the source material are trying to do something for the fans....

Oh and NARUTO > DRAGONBALL all day son!!!!!! ;)

i prefer naruto to dragonball z,i like them both but naruto just a little bit more.

the akatsuki storyline was f*ckin awesome & they have some fantastic characters

^^^Cuz Naruto is and has been the #1 Anime for over 10 YEARS! Japanese comics bro, it's relevant and if you haven't checked any out before I recommend Full-Metal Alchemist, Naruto, & Bleach....so really good stories over there...
