Superman may be insanely strong but I think they forgot just how powerful Goku really is.

Great article @CronoA7X love how you bring DBZ love to this site.

Goku would win hands down IMO. Instantly anywhere, distroys planets, spirit bomb? Come on. Superman just can't compete with that. Super saiyan 2 would probably do the job but go 3 or 4 or fusion. It's a joke. Superman can't destroy galaxies.

Their analysis at the end makes sense. It's really an impossible question because both characters have been written to accomplish ridiculous things. The numbers sure make it look like a one-sided battle but somehow even with those numbers Superman manages to get his butt kicked time and time again, even without Kryptonite. Depending on the writer and the situation for Supes his power levels vary, ranging from invincibility to some strong guy that can hold his own in a fight but DC still wants us to relate to him so they show him struggling to win. Both have ridiculous stories but at least Goku's follows one set line of history where his present power level is a some-what logical and measurable improvement from his past. The truth is that Superman may have these numbers in theory, and DC may boast them, but if you read his comics he demonstrates an impressive amount of weakness if he is truly as powerful as this video proclaims. I give this battle to Goku, because he always finds a way. It may require Super Saiyan 16 and three seperate wishes from the immortal dragon but he would find a way! ;)

I will say though, I agree with the whole...Earth imploding bit at the end of their fight. I mean shit...Superman after spending some time basking INSIDE the sun...plus Goku after having a fully charged Spirit Bomb in Super Saiyan form...[frick]. lol

But these guys did give a very detailed and careful analysis...no bias i can sense here.

I agree with @Shua.

Believe it or not...I would have thought Goku would win personally because you followed from DB all the way to DBGT (ick I hated GT) but you followed Goku's progression and his power rising to immeasurable heights.

So to me, in my mind...Goku was more powerful.

After this though IDK. I'm kinda mum on the whole thing and gettin tired of the debate lol

I used to be a huge DB and DBZ fan (not so much GT) and I fully realize how powerful Goku is but he does have some major drawback that never get abused. He cant breathe in space, He has no education, and the limits to his power is only what his body can produce. Superman is invulnerable even in space, He has a genius intellect, and his power is infinite as long as there is a yellow or blue sun.

Goku looses everytime. Spirit Bombs wont work on Supes for the same reason he can lift mjolnir.

Shua, you are forgetting one major point.

After Goku achieve "blah blah" 16 Superman would just call his friend Batman

With prep time Batman always wins.

Even at "blah blah" 16 funny Japanese cartoon loses!

To be honest, I've never understood this argument. I watched Ninja Turtles and Gargoyles and so on as a kid, but I don't spend hours trying to prove that a Goliath/Master Splinter team-up could take down Batman.

I'm sure that DBZ fans need to justify watching all eight quadrillion episodes of their silly, oversaturated anime SOMEHOW, but why is it "he could beat Superman"? Oh well, whatever. What I'm taking away is that even in Mega Ultra Super-de-Dooper Aloha Maroon Kitty form, Goku still isn't stronger than Supes. And it was an entertaining video, so at least the whole kerfuffle has yielded that...
