We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be directed by Marc Webb from a script written by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Jeff Pinkner and James Vanderbilt. The film will star Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Sally Field as Aunt May, Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Jamie Foxx is Electro and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn. The Amazing Spider-Man sequel will swing into theaters May 2, 2014.

So Much footage
Batmaniac - 3/7/2014, 4:15 AM
I'm getting a real cheesey vibe from Electro. This feels more like Raimi Spider-Man movie than a Marc Webb one.
McNyagano - 3/7/2014, 4:17 AM
Monday can't come soon enough ;)

I really hate when they change Spidey's dialogue under the mask...
Pending - 3/7/2014, 4:19 AM
Awww I feel so bad for Max, Spidey just comes of as an obnoxious prick in that scene.
shaddowkhan - 3/7/2014, 4:21 AM

0ptimusCrime - 3/7/2014, 4:25 AM

SuperCat - 3/7/2014, 4:29 AM
Guess Norman dies.
UltimateTypeface - 3/7/2014, 4:30 AM
why do they make Max such a pussy?
ibravosp5 - 3/7/2014, 4:34 AM
Hold up, does anyone remember the theory where Harry and Norman switched bodies?
CherryBomb - 3/7/2014, 4:34 AM
We did see Norman on his death bed in the trailer so this isn't shocking news. Also, something must have to happen to suddenly bring Harry back into the picture.
xinstituto - 3/7/2014, 4:36 AM
Batmaniac I agree..
Pending - 3/7/2014, 4:42 AM
I guess the twist is Norman never died and is the man in the shadows.
JFogg - 3/7/2014, 4:52 AM
Oooooo those are awesome.
Spideyfan11 - 3/7/2014, 4:52 AM
now that i think about it i guess it really isn't a spoiler that norman "died" if they are willing to reveal in Kellogg shorts.
CaptainAmerica31 - 3/7/2014, 4:55 AM
Oscorp part was pretty interesting

Masterpace - 3/7/2014, 5:09 AM
@McNyagano

What is going to happen on monday?
Jwe75 - 3/7/2014, 5:14 AM
...
DrunkenNukem - 3/7/2014, 5:30 AM
Norman is the real Mandarin
Scarilian - 3/7/2014, 5:36 AM
Norman isn't actually dead - he fakes his death in order to lure Harry to Oscorp in order to get him to take responsibility of Oscorp and change the world. He is setting Harry up for the fall and forcing Harry into a position where he'll take the Green Goblin formula. At the end of the film Norman will be revealed to be alive and will take the formula himself to set up the sequel.
thewolfx - 3/7/2014, 5:37 AM
If norman dies im done with this shit
jimoakley666 - 3/7/2014, 5:40 AM
Ha. Great. Stan's narrating like he did in the books when he was writing them.
MrNiklander - 3/7/2014, 5:41 AM
@Bravado Yeah it's really bad that Jamie Foxx will have to do a loser turned god. That's the way they want to use Jamie mother[frick]ing Foxx didn't IM3 or hell even Forever taught them anything
McNyagano - 3/7/2014, 5:48 AM
@Masterpace

Somebody is seeing the film at a screening ;)
Ranger14 - 3/7/2014, 5:55 AM
Haven't watched any new footage for a while now. I already feel like I know how the film is going to play out. Limiting myself to one trailer per film now, which sometimes is too much depending on what scenes they put in the trailer.
GodzillaKart - 3/7/2014, 6:00 AM
Gotta love the Stan Lee narration.
Masterpace - 3/7/2014, 6:01 AM
@McNyagano

Oh good for you...I hope you will share a few spoiler free thoughts in editorial or something :D
JJJameson - 3/7/2014, 6:02 AM
Neither Cap or Spidey are showing too much footage. This is marketing done right IMHO, same was done for The Avengers , Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel before them. You'll just spoil yourself if you watch everything that they have released to promote the films, but that isn't Marvel's or Sony's fault, is it? As it was said, nobody is forcing you to watch these videos.
Pasto - 3/7/2014, 6:03 AM
McNyagano has been able to get his hands on these early screenings because he is secretly Bat-Wing. When you are a part of the Bat-Family I give you perks.

Wait, was I not supposed to say that? Whoops.
Nomis - 3/7/2014, 6:03 AM
@ Gfart - I know, right! Reminds me of when Stan used to narrate those classic MARVEL cartoons!
NightWatcher - 3/7/2014, 6:05 AM
After all the footage they release there will be no reason for me to watch the movie.
Anborn - 3/7/2014, 6:06 AM
quit it with the clips already...if we edit them all together we have 30 min of the movie already...for christ's sake its spider-man. we are all going to watch it. quit overdoing the advertising!
SpectacularJoShFest - 3/7/2014, 6:11 AM
Stan Lee narrating is AWESOME! Gotta love the man.Hopefully he'll narrate the game as well like in Shattered Dimensions and a few other games back in the day.

CoulsonLives - 3/7/2014, 6:13 AM
