An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Gareth Edwards directs Godzilla, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Inception), Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (The English PatientCosmopolis), and Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck. The Bourne Legacy) and Bryan Cranston (Argo, TV's Breaking Bad).

Guys I endorse you to see "MONSTERS" by Gareth (his debut film)

It is great taking into consideration the limited budget he had to made it.
He definetly is the best option for godzilla.

Has anyone here seen Monsters yet?
and what was your opinion?
TheAbaryMan369 - 5/7/2014, 4:36 PM
I don't mind that the movie focuses mostly on the humans. After all, the original movie only had Godzilla in it for a little less than 20 minutes.

9 More Days!!! I have to stop watching these things. I feel like I've seen too much already. I mean they had me at Godzilla!!!!
dio - 5/7/2014, 4:38 PM
This movie has to be my most anticipated flick.

I hope this rocks..the trailers look so good. We have an XD-3D theater near us (no imax) and the roar in the trailer moves the chew food in your belly like a rock concert.. :)

WILL NOT WATCH!!! MUST RESTRAIN MYSELF WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING!!!
dio - 5/7/2014, 4:41 PM
Karmatron ...Saw Monsters when it came out and loved it. I liked the fact that it was a "less is more" approach and that it was more of a character piece with a wild backdrop. Come to find out years after seeing it,Garreth Edwards did the effects in his bedroom on a laptop. Was excited when I heard he was onboard to direct and with the footage thus far, those feelings feel validated.

Ok - finally they've shown more of Godzilla in movement. In the water he looks epic and the camera is pulled back so we see his scale. A few more shots of him in movement and I'll see the film.

Sucks that I won't be seeing it until the following weekend but it'll be for a back to back viewing with Godzilla (I-MAX 3D) and X-Men Days of Future Past (3D).

Also been doing a marathon of all the Godzilla films in anticipation. Currently watching Son of Godzilla, one of my favorites.

No thanks, I still think 3D is a waste of money.

AlexanderLykins - 5/7/2014, 4:54 PM
I might be hitting Godzilla solo. My little sister is my movie buddy and she can't go. Anybody got a movie buddy? Not counting girlfriends. Just somebody who you go to the movies often with. My ex hated going to the movies. Our relationship ended after she didn't want to see Thor: The Dark World.
