An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.

Gareth Edwards directs Godzilla, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Inception), Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (The English PatientCosmopolis), and Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck. The Bourne Legacy) and Bryan Cranston (Argo, TV's Breaking Bad).

Guys I endorse you to see "MONSTERS" by Gareth (his debut film)

It is great taking into consideration the limited budget he had to made it.
He definetly is the best option for godzilla.

Has anyone here seen Monsters yet?
and what was your opinion?

I don't mind that the movie focuses mostly on the humans. After all, the original movie only had Godzilla in it for a little less than 20 minutes.

Ok - finally they've shown more of Godzilla in movement. In the water he looks epic and the camera is pulled back so we see his scale. A few more shots of him in movement and I'll see the film.

Sucks that I won't be seeing it until the following weekend but it'll be for a back to back viewing with Godzilla (I-MAX 3D) and X-Men Days of Future Past (3D).

Also been doing a marathon of all the Godzilla films in anticipation. Currently watching Son of Godzilla, one of my favorites.
