Lauren Shuler Donner On Retconning X-MEN: THE LAST STAND; Updates On DEADPOOL

Talking to HeyUGuys, Lauren revealed how X-Men: Days Of Future Past would impact the previous films,“Yes, it will be putting that right,” She added “Just forget about X-3! And the first Wolverine; forget about that too!”  Given the ending of DOFP, it all makes sense. It completely erases those events of X-Men: The Last Stand from ever happening which leaves our fellow mutants in an interesting place. On Deapool, the producer said, "“We so want to make it. We’re getting there. I think it will, but one thing now is the rating. If we make it a smaller budget movie, we can go for the R-Rating. If not, then we push the boundaries of PG-13 which is alright too. We just don’t want to saturate the market to the point where it’s just not special anymore.” In other words, we won't be getting a Deadpool movie any time soon. last time we heard Ryan Reynolds was attached to the project. Whether or not he's still attached to the project, remains to be seen. What do you guys think? Do you think the MercWithMouth will ever have his own solo film? Leave your thoughts down in the usual place.
