Thor vs Hulk ends in a stalemate. The fight begins on the helicarrier after Banner hulks out and almost kills Black Widow. A huge fight between the two ensues (they're about even in terms of power levels) but eventually ends when Hulk is distracted by a SHIELD fighter jet.

Stark Tower becomes The Avengers Mansion. It's damaged during the battle for NYC but an A symbol can be seen on it at the very end (in a scene involving Pepper and Tony).

The events of The Incredible Hulk are acknowledged as in continuity. Tony watches a clip of the Hulk roaring from the park scene in TIH, Coulson briefs Captain America on the variation to the serum Erskine made (i.e. what Blonsky had), and Ruffalo's Banner talks about how he leveled Brooklyn (i.e. when he duked it out with Abomination).

Thor flies only a handful of times during the film (once or twice in the battle at the end).

Pepper Potts is implied to be pregnant.

The battle in New York City lasts between 15 and 20 minutes.

The Leviathan(s) is not named in the film, and there are in fact three of them.

Agent Coulson is killed by Loki. He tries to use a gun created from the technology of the Destroyer armor on him (in order to save Thor), but gets stabbed. He does manage to fire the gun as he dies.

Thanos is the villain in the mid-credits scene (CGI, but possibly voiced by Jeffrey Wright). One of his minions remarks that to interfere with earth would be to "court death", at which he smiles.

Asgard and Odin do not feature in the movie.

At the end Thor leaves Earth with Loki and the Cosmic Cube.

Doesn't matter what people write in these articles, I read them just for fun. I won't really know what happens until I see the film.
JDUKE25 - 4/14/2012, 2:28 PM

@JeremyBrown, as I said man, it doesn't matter for me. I always read these as "possibilities" and they never make the experience worst or "not as good" for me. And the best part is, here in my town, the guys that work in the theater skip the credits and show the after-credits scene almost right after the movie ends.
Gerrit - 4/14/2012, 2:39 PM
Actually, what concerns me more is Iron Man vs Thor. I am really concerned that Thor will not be more powerfull than Iron Man, but if this thing about Thor vs Hulk is true, than Thor's strength≈Hulk's strength > Iron Man's strength. Or, is Iron Man as strong as the Hulk?
kingmonkeyman - 4/14/2012, 2:40 PM
I can't believe Shane dies and comes back as a zombie. Oops wrong thread.
marvel72 - 4/14/2012, 2:42 PM

JDUKE25 - 4/14/2012, 2:43 PM

Gnyah123 - 4/14/2012, 2:44 PM
ok hulk shud be stronger than thor not even
the angry he gets the powerful he gets..thats sumthing they shud stick with! at all times
even if bruce plans or finds a way to control his anger while hes hulk he shud be stronger
only way thor shud be strong is if his hammer
pyrodude93 - 4/14/2012, 2:46 PM
Awh shit, not the son of coul D:
marvel72 - 4/14/2012, 2:46 PM
@ Gerrit

iron man vs thor,i believe its just a way of testing each other out, thor probably says something along the lines of "hit me as hard as you want,i can take it"

i see something in the b-roll footage, that showed iron man's armour all battle damaged in the woods, maybe thor did that.
THAN0S - 4/14/2012, 2:51 PM

Just wanted to say I am not reading any of this, in fact, I didnt even look at it, I just scrolled down to write this comment.

That is all, lol.

May 4 cant get here any sooner!!!

Gerrit - 4/14/2012, 3:01 PM
Well, judging by the storybook that leaked a while ago, it did seem that Iron Man wouldn't get the upper hand.
@Gnyah123, actually, Hulk's strength tends to infinity. Thor's a god, his strength IS infinite, kkkkk.
CraptainAmerica - 4/14/2012, 3:02 PM
How do they settle the Thor/Jane not meeting?

How does Thor get back to earth?

Are any of the team impersonated by the aliens? How and why?

Do we see enough of Thanos or is it a silhouette? What's he like?
rockerdude22 - 4/14/2012, 3:05 PM
@THANOS You saw it? What did you think?
antonio - 4/14/2012, 3:22 PM
I saw the film 2 and 1/2 hours ago and I can confirm all of these/
antonio - 4/14/2012, 3:23 PM
BTW, the film was absolutely incredible!!!
pOoPEE - 4/14/2012, 3:27 PM
I did not read, I will not read, I willlll noooooot readdddd. Iiiii reeeeaaaalllyreallly want to READ. Arrrrgh runnning away from computer or I will read aaarrrrggghhh. Im back :(
antonio - 4/14/2012, 3:36 PM
Also, Pepper has about 5 minutes of total screen time and I clocked the entire film(with credits and secret scene) to be 143 minutes long.
antonio - 4/14/2012, 3:37 PM
@CraptainAmerica I'm not gonna go into specifics how the Thor/Jane relationship is handled, but she is alluded to in the film. No, none of the invaders inpersonate the other members, and the mid credits stuff....I think you will have just see because it was truly awesome. It's about 47 second long, though.
CraptainAmerica - 4/14/2012, 3:41 PM
@antonio Ah dude, there's some seriously big spoilers in here already. A few minor details won't hurt surely? I'm not asking for major plot or scene elements...

;-) I it was you in my position you'd want the same
antonio - 4/14/2012, 3:45 PM
@CraptainAmerica it was a shadowy-like figure of Thanos, but you totally tell it's him. No mention of Peggy Carter or Betty Ross. Not even a War Machine or Abomination reference.
antonio - 4/14/2012, 3:47 PM
Once they revealed Thanos, everyone in my auditorium lost their shit. My girlfriend even knew who that was and she is more of a DC fangirl.
CraptainAmerica - 4/14/2012, 3:55 PM
@antonio Was the CG any good? Did he look lifelike or heavily CG and was the interpretation true?

How does Thor get back?
R888 - 4/14/2012, 3:59 PM
@antonio

A few question

Does everyone get there screentime?
Elcid0685 - 4/14/2012, 4:02 PM
My heart still pumping for all that action I
Just saw at the early screening . The thanos scene have the all crowd here in l.a excited and suPer hyped can't wait to the sequel also I had to say that hawkeye was amazing . He is my favorite marvel character ever
antonio - 4/14/2012, 4:04 PM
@R888 yes. This movie is far from Iron Man and friends, although I do think Tony Stark had the best lines.

I'm sorry, I am actually really busy so I won't be able to answer any more questions for a couple minutes, but @CraptainAmerica the room was kind of dark(in the film), but he was heavily CG. Looked pretty cool though.
R888 - 4/14/2012, 4:16 PM
@Elcid0685

Did hulk really steal the show?
Elcid0685 - 4/14/2012, 5:20 PM
R888 Yes he did bro...:-) hulk smash puny Loki ...lol
darknight22 - 4/14/2012, 5:36 PM
