I got a chance to see Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno, I love it. Got to get my hands on the conclusion, Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends.

@Melkaticox
Actually there are really few anime/manga adaptations (with decent enough budget), and they're mostly pretty good.

- Gantz trilogy
- Yamato
- Casshern (more like a new interpretation, but pretty cool and deep)
- Death Note
- Crows Zero
- 20th Century Boys

Not to mention the romance/drama manga adaptations.

i watched them all. tehy are amazing the sword fights are fantastic and are to be compared to. these fights are the level movies need to work up to.

really hope they adapt the third arc of the manga and if they do its going to be even better. they are going to do it because they have already alluded to kenshins wife.

It was pretty badass! Hollywood needs to watch it and learn how to adapt a mannga.

It was surprisingly good. Generally hate most live action Japanese films. Really hope Attack on Titan is as good or better.

I loved these movies. The first one was amazing. The second and third were really good too.

I'm surprised these movies haven't got more exposure. The Kenshin vs Seta fight and the final fight between Kenshin/Sanosuke/Saito/Aoshi vs Shishio were absolutely crazy.

i've been singing these movies praises for the last 3 years. Not only is the fight choreography beautiful (and you really can't use any other word to describe it), the adherence to the Manga is 100% on point.

Sojuro is straight outta the manga, replete with unreadable smile.

Kenshin: "What's so funny?"
Sojuro: "...nothing's funny...nothing at all" ~smirk~

Love watching Kenshin crouch down in the hiten mitsurugi stance.

Not gonna even TRY and lie...watching Saito line up for Gatotsu was just [frick]ing DOPE!

Even Seijuro's HM cloak is friggin epic!!

Can't wait to finish Legend Ends tonight.

Too many trolls asleep on this site when it comes to Anime. This trilogy is by far one the best adaptations of an Anime OR cartoon series. It deserves praise along with the rest of the critically/fan acclaim of the comic book movie genre.Haters can hate, though.

@Melkaticox Oh Yeah! IMDB ratings, the most valuable source when you talk about movie quality. By IMDB ratings, 'THE DARK KNIGHT' is Better than 'Apocalypse Now', 'Seven', 'The Silence of the Lambs' and many others. Bullshit.

I love this movie!

Few nitpicks:

* We didn't see how Kenshin beat Seijuro Hiko
* no amakakeru ryu no hirameki
* not enough screen time for the Juppongatana

I like the fact that the 4 of them have to fight Sishio all at once to beat him. Also, I didn't expect the fake execution scene I was thinking how he will get out of that situation.
