@Doopie The trailer said "Girl with wings and a past life-complex", so I think that in present day the wings are some kind of harnes, but in her past lives they have actually been part of her body.

Actually, I think the early promotional info for her stated that the wings grow out of her back when needed... When she gets angry or is in danger or something of the sort.

The way they've been saying, such as the synopsis and the cast and crew, her wings appear when she's going into "battle mode" so I wonder if's some mystical shit where her wings will just appear whenever rather than just being a part of her. Either way, beats having a harness tenfold.

I don't think her shirts will just tear off when her wings appear either so I think they'll definitely just appear when she needs them, which is fine....her having some mystical abilities such as having her wings appear could add to the whole concept of her having some identity complex where perhaps the first version of Hawkgirl did have wings that were a part of her body.

Kendra Saunders from Earth 2 is AFRO-LATINA. Meaning she's of both black and latin descent. Meanwhile, Hawkgirl in general has often been portrayed as some sort of Latina due to the Justice League cartoon wanting to be more diverse in their roster. I am all here for more Latin representation tbh so

I really don't know much about this incarnation of Hawkgirl.A lot of others don't as well.Most only know the Shayera Hol from JL and JLU.I hope it translates well in the show and that people can embrace her as Hawkgirl.

I'll watch it, but I just don't know about this show.

Too bad we gotta deal with them goddamned mid-season breaks. I'd rather they give us the Agent Carter and Legends of Tomorrow over the summer instead, and give us uninterrupted Agents of SHIELD and Flash seasons.

Oh, and I just saw that TRAVESTY "Justice League: Gods and Monsters" first season. UNBELIEVABLY BAD. I cannot believe how DC just uses its characters in name only. Batman a vampire? Superman an outright child-killer? I never even watched the Wonder Woman one.

People who like that sort of shit never read the comics, I am convinced of it now.
