At Comic Con, Guggenheim confirmed that the footage seen in the trailer is not part of the actual show. It was a proof of concept trailer which explains why the special effects looked cheap.

To answer your question about when it premieres, it will most likely be in January during the midseason breaks of both Flash and Arrow. The CW hasn't confirmed that yet so keep an eye out for more info!

Anyone else noticing no Caity Lotz at the table read for Ep 2? They did say certain characters would get stranded in time and stuff, didn't think it would happen so early? Anyone else think White Canary may skip an episode?
