The numbers for Monday:

Time Show Adults 18-49 Rating/Share Viewers (000s)
8 p.m. The Voice (NBC) (8-10 p.m.) 3.0/9 13.09
It’s Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown (ABC) – S 1.8/6 7.18
Supergirl (CBS) 1.6/5 8.03
Gotham (FOX) 1.6/5 4.52
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (The CW) 0.4/1 1.06

9 p.m. A Charlie Brown Christmas (ABC) – S 2.0/6 7.33
Scorpion (CBS) – R 1.1/3 6.59
Minority Report (FOX) – Finale 0.7/2 2.24
Greatest Holiday Commericals Countdown (The CW) – R 0.2/1 0.77

10 p.m. Superstore (NBC) – P 2.2/7 7.97
The Great Holiday Baking Show (ABC) – P 1.2/3 4.36
NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS) – R 1.1/3 7.54

10:30 p.m. Superstore (NBC) 1.9/6 6.15

Both “Gotham” and “Supergirl” improved on last week’s ratings Monday night, with FOX’s show rising 0.2 and CBS’ rookie ticking up 0.1. For the first time “Gotham,” which was airing its fall finale, tied “Supergirl.”

NBC’s numbers are inflated, but even with adjustments for NFL pre-emptions “Superstore” will likely end up with decent ratings for its two-episode preview. The premiere at 10 p.m. should end up in the high 1s, while episode 2 will probably land in the 1.5-1.7 range.

“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” (0.4) was also up week to week, while ABC got decent numbers from “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and the 50th anniversary special that preceded it. The premiere of “The Great Holiday Baking Show” (1.2) performed on par with what “Castle” has been doing.

Network averages:

NBC ABC CBS FOX CW
Adults 18-49 rating/share 2.6/8 1.6/5 1.3/4 1.2/4 0.3/1
Total Viewers (000s) 11.08 6.29 7.39 3.38 0.91

Late-night metered market results (adults 18-49, households):

11:35 p.m.

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”: 1.1/6, 2.9/8

“Jimmy Kimmel Live”: 0.5/3, 2.0/5

“Late Show with Stephen Colbert” – R: 0.4/2, 1.8/5

12:35 a.m.

“Late Night with Seth Meyers” – R: 0.5/4, 1.3/4

“Nightline”: 0.4/2, 1.3/4

“Late Late Show with James Corden”: 0.2/2, 0.9/3

Definitions:
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings are available at approximately 11 a.m. ET the day after telecast. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time.
Time Shifted Viewing: Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live +Same-Day and Live +7 Day. Time-shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+SD includes viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3 a.m. local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live +7 ratings include viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

I hear the song Bat Blood every time i see Arrow next to the Flash... I want Barry to snuff that wanker in the face.
I don't get how Barry is a confident super hero capable of taking on meta humans and extreme villains but when Oliver is around the writers turn Barry into an inexperienced kid in tights who can run fast but not be the lead hero?? Stupid.
Oh well, hope Hawkman is cool.

What DCTV shows need is really really vicious villains like Marvel/Netflix had in Kilgrave and Kingpin. The badder the villain the greater the story. Damien Dahrk needs to get darker, and Maxwell Lord needs to be Bipolar or something.

@Dev7: Have you ever said something positive about these shows? I only see you post negative things. I'll say something negative because I'm not denying these shows have flaws. Sometimes the relationship drama or romantic scenes are unbearable. How about you TRY to say something positive.

@Dev7: Sometimes we need a reminder about what truly "horrendous" dialouge is. The dialouge is certainly cheesy in that preview, and denpending on your tastes that is either a good thing or a bad thing.

@Dev7: Also ManCalledSting is saying you're trolling because everytime you come to these threads you always leave negative remarks. Now that is your right to do so, but don't be suprised that some people disagree with your opinion.

Agree with @Dev7.

The writing is down right horrendous in these shows.
It's actually making me not excited for the show each week

@Dev7: I'm willing to accept it from Flash because it feels like a Silver Age comic. It's less acceptable on Arrow because that show tries to be so dark and serious sometimes. Some of the dialogue can be bad, but I wasn't exactly offened by it in that preview. Smallvile was mediocre and people put up with that show for ten years. What kind of show do you want Flash to be? An ultra dark show? Even some of the Marvel and DC movies have cheesy dialogue. I don't think anyone is going to say this show is the absolute best thing ever. I love Breaking Bad, but I can still enjoy cheesy superhero properties. People just enjoy it! What's so wrong with that? Why are you on such a crusade to prevent anyone from enjoying things just because they don't measure up to your high and pretentious standards.

Watch iZombie instead. It has the best writing and acting of any CB show IMO. That includes Netflix.

You, know what? I'd like to take back what I said about doubting people find The Flash to be the "best thing ever!" If you love something that much, good for you! I won't judge your standards.

DCMarvelFanGuy - 12/1/2015, 10:51 AM
@blackandyellow: You're right that IZombie is probably the best one. I wish more people gave it a chance. It's even better than the Flash objectively, but I still enjoy Flash more.

@Dev7: No! I'm sorry for coming off as a bit defensive, you are entitled to your own opinion like I stated earlier. Sorry if I offended you! I just always see you come on here and continue to bash. I mean, there isn't anything you like on these shows AT ALL??

@Dev7: Thanks! I'm glad your willing to hope the show goes back to it's early Season One roots. I always get some enjoyment of the Flash (except for that awful bee episode last season), but I truly love it when the Rogues like Captain Cold. Ironically, he has probably the most subtle character development on the show. Anyway, sorry if I was antagonizing you before. That was never my intention.
