ThreeBigTacos - 10/16/2011, 8:36 AM
Nice! Moon Knight would be a pretty awesome property to adapt too, but before that we need Black Panther or Luke Cage.
TequilaMan - 10/16/2011, 8:38 AM
Hugh Laurie for Doc Strange!
AutobotCommander84 - 10/16/2011, 8:44 AM
PATRICK DEMPSEY FOR THE DOC!
mikesinuman - 10/16/2011, 8:45 AM
I have a question, why is Dr. Strange? LOL! Sean penn for Dr.Strange!
IAM - 10/16/2011, 8:50 AM
I love Hugh Laurie, but the look doesn't seem to be there.....he sure could deliver the acting. I wouldn't mind seeing Patrick Dempsey, he has the look, but I am thinking more of Clive Owen for Doc.
Niuhll - 10/16/2011, 8:52 AM
Somebody mentioned Benedict Cumberbatch once and so imma go with him, brilliant actor. This is his sort of character.
StarkRaving - 10/16/2011, 8:56 AM
NinjaCarm, there are millions of people who don't care about comic book movies in general, but you don't see them proclaiming their disinterest on sites for those who do.

So why are you bothering to post that you don't care about Dr. Strange in an article about Dr. Strange? I mean, who gives a flying [frick]?
Ichaos - 10/16/2011, 9:02 AM
@StarkRaving Ninja posted in an attempt to make [frick] fly

SEAN PENN/DR STRANGE??? Ya know, that just might work...directed by Tarantino. Not kidding....
JordanKing - 10/16/2011, 9:17 AM
Hmm, would this mean he'd be included in the inevitable (ok, not so much lol) sequel to the Avengers.

Ahh, I can already picture the out cry from Antman and Wasp/Ultron fans if he is picked over them. Oh, what a day that will be.
Cross - 10/16/2011, 9:31 AM
Bring it on with Johnny Depp and Guillermo del Toro!!!

Kiltman - 10/16/2011, 9:50 AM
Can't wait to see Strange on film.

And I'd hate if it was Sean Penn, guy is a turd, over-rated as an actor in my opinion, and I can't see him "playing nice" with the rest of the universe. It'd be Ed Norton situation all over again, and he'd be a one-and-done.

The Del Toro/Depp pairing is the absolute dream scenario, but I wouldn't be angry if it was Dempsey because he already has stated his desire to play strange, and would gladly sign a multiple picture deal.
SageMode - 10/16/2011, 10:02 AM
Hey Marvel........Jim Caviezel for Dr. Strange please? Much appreciated. :-)
Judecheung - 10/16/2011, 10:03 AM
honestly who cares if it's strange or luke cage or antman or guardians of universe or whoever... (i like dr strange though)

if it's a marvel production it means MUST SEE:D
jazzman - 10/16/2011, 10:04 AM
i rather not Johnny Depp played Dr Strange he is a good actor but he is too predictable for that role.

Johnny Depp said he is a fan of Namor when he did a interview with herocomplex.

"Oh yeah. I was a rock ‘n’ roll kid, mainly, but prior to age 12, when the rock ‘n’ roll sort of took hold, I was a comic-book head. I liked Sgt. Rock. And I loved the Sub-Mariner. I loved Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner."

Depp said he was no fan of Captain America. "No, not really. But I liked Spider-Man and I liked the Fantastic Four for a bit. I really liked Sgt. Rock. But the Sub-Mariner, he was the alternative one. The alt-superhero. He was the sort of Bohemian comic book. I like that."

TheCaptain - 10/16/2011, 10:06 AM
@0SageMode0, Hell yes! Caviezel for Strange!!
@jazzman, Can't picture Depp as Namor, hes too small

cool news
jazzman - 10/16/2011, 10:09 AM
@AsgardianGangsta

who cares about high, RDJ is also small and they gave him shoe lift too look taller they can do the same for Johnny Depp.
Sortis - 10/16/2011, 10:27 AM
DOOOOO EEEEET! We need some Stephen Strange!
TheCaptain - 10/16/2011, 10:35 AM
@jazzman,

I wasn't talking about height, I meant like physical/muscular build, Depp is not a big guy. They just need to pick an unknown, just like they did with Hemsworth as Thor. I have no desire to see Depp as Namor AT ALL. Plus, the Iron Man suit makes anyone wearing it bigger, genius.
gurugeorge - 10/16/2011, 10:38 AM
YESSSSSSS!!!!!!
gurugeorge - 10/16/2011, 10:38 AM
And it's got to be Depp, he's so got the right face.
marvel72 - 10/16/2011, 10:59 AM
bring on dr.strange,can't wait.
AlibiBreakfast - 10/16/2011, 10:59 AM
Johnny Depp would be great, but something to keep in mind is that Robert Downey Jr is only signed up for one more film under his Marvel contract. If he doesn't sign on to play Iron Man again, it would be amazing to see Johnny Depp take over the role of Tony Stark. Plus, Depp already has a great relationship with Marvel's parent company, Disney, because of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
bigshaun29 - 10/16/2011, 11:05 AM
This is good news and has the potential to be GREAT! This truly can give MARVEL a great FRANCHISE much like HARRY POTTER, which I think is a great reference for how this movie should look and feel. It needs a dirty, unpolished look to it. Much like HARRY POTTER or LORDS OF THE RINGS. That was my only issue with THOR, it looked too pretty and polished visually. Time to get GRIMY!
PaulRom - 10/16/2011, 11:06 AM
A Dr. Strange movie has so much potential. Can't wait.
jazzman - 10/16/2011, 11:08 AM
@AsgardianGangsta

wasnt even talking about the Iron Man suit. i was just talking about just RDJ in the role as Tony he wears a shoe lift to look taller.

yeah Johnny Depp aint a big guy but heres something he can hit the gym like Chris Evans did when he played Cap to gain body mass. i also agree i rather a unknown for the role to be honest but i just mention Johnny Depp is a fan of Namor.
Xeriath - 10/16/2011, 11:31 AM
Personally, I think John Cusack would make a great Dr. Strange! I mean c'mon he's a really good actor, and he totally has his look down pat!

I would love Benedict Cumberbatch to be Dr Strange. Brilliant actor.
SotNatt - 10/16/2011, 10:40 PM
I can't...I just can't...envision a more perfect world than one where a Dr. Strange film exist. Although, it would be nice to see the Ant-Man and DEADPOOL *swoon* films first!
SHIRO - 10/16/2011, 10:51 PM
make this movie happen already!!!
