Looks like Young Justice will gain a little more diversity as a new member joins the roster in this brief but revealing DC Nation promo.

Pretty sure that's Rocket, a character created by the late, great Dwayne McDuffie under his Milestone imprint. And if Rocket is there then you know Icon can't be far behind. There's also a mystery fight between Superboy and what looks like another Superman clone. Young Justice is an American animated television series created by Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti for Cartoon Network. Despite its title, it is not an adaptation of Peter David, Todd Dezago and Todd Nauck's Young Justice comic series, but rather an adaptation of the entire DC Universe with a focus on young superheroes. The series follows the lives of teenaged heroes and sidekicks who are members of a fictional covert operation team called Young Justice. The team is essentially a young counterpart to the celebrity-level famous adult team, the Justice League. The main setting is the fictional universe of Earth-16, during a time period in which superheroes are a relatively recent phenomenon. The series debuted on January 7, 2011 with a two week reairing of the first two episodes, which originally aired as an hour long special on November 26, 2010. Young Justice premiered on September 9, 2011 on Teletoon, in Canada.

Young Justice is currently on a hiatus and will resume on March 3, 2012.

don't know much about the character, but it seems interesting, still would like to see Wonder Girl, Secret and Empress in the future.

We already saw Secret on the show--she was in the Halloween episode where Zatanna and Artemis fight her brother, Harm. We will be getting Wonder Girl in this season, but I like that they're adding another obscure character to the cast. Wonder who'll voice Rocket...

Icon is the man! I wish Blood Syndicate or Shadow Cabine could get some DC Universe direct to Blu Ray/dvd movie love. R.I.P. Dwayne McDuffie. Love Milestone Comics and the documentarty on Dwayne McDuffie that comes with the Justice League Doom Blu Ray is fantastic.

That is stupid! That is not more diversity. There is already a black character and a few girls. I was hoping for Blue Beetle or a young Ryan Choi.

The other Superboy is a clone that turns into a "Bizzaro" and expect there to be revolving teen heroes that come and go from the team with a core team of about five that stay the same. They will have a Wonder girl, and Secret will come back, as well as Empress. To prevent the chance of them leaving out a favorite, they're going to cycle a variety of people through.

Why is everyone dissing the show? It's amazing! Yes, the episode lagged and were mediocre in the middle, but the last few episodes were just awesome!
