I don't think this necessarily mean a timeline clue (or then, that he is talking about a "First Class" X-MEN movie), Bowie's song, perhaps with some reznor-like arrangement ("Oh! You Pretty Things" is kinda folk), could fit into a film set in the present. I guess what he likes about that song is not just the vibe but the lyrics and the meaning. Those Bowie's albums were deep into Nietzsche and his "supermen" concept, meaning the next (in mind and consciousness) stance in humankind evolution. So the relation between this particular song and the X-MEN concept is awesome. Just read some lines...

"Look at your children
See their faces in golden rays
Don't kid yourself they belong to you
They're the start of a coming race
The earth is a bitch
We've finished our news
Homo Sapiens have outgrown their use
All the strangers came today
And it looks as though they're here to stay

Oh You Pretty Things (Oh You Pretty Things)
Don't you know you're driving your
Mamas and Papas insane
Oh You Pretty Things (Oh You Pretty Things)
Don't you know you're driving your
Mamas and Papas insane
Let me make it plain
You gotta make way for the Homo Superior"

That's the kind of songs Magneto likes to hear while jogging.

Stentz immediate follow-up tweet:

"Note: I am NOT working on the next X-Men movie. Our friend the very capable Simon Kinberg is handling those duties."
