The Avengers is an upcoming American superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. i f*ckin love the destroyer armour,it such an awesome design.
Orphix - 3/29/2012, 6:48 AM
I've been reading this series with interest. So it seems SHIELD have been analysing the whiplash harness, examining the wormhole/9 worlds theory and Sterns mutation.

On top of that they seem to have been able to turn The Destroyer into a gun!!

Clever, clever!!

Also with Hammer in police custody and Blonsky in military hands it makes you wonder if any of these guys/things are gonna be knocking around in The Avengers??

Masters of Evil for The Avengers 2, anyone????
dahamma - 3/29/2012, 6:53 AM
I gotta start reading these they look awesome. And I have been wondering what happened to the destroyer armor!
marvel72 - 3/29/2012, 6:56 AM
@ orphix

not a bad idea with them going down the masters of evil road in the avengers 2.

but personally i think they should save that for the avengers 3.

the avengers 2 vision, ultron & introduce black panther.

the avengers 3 introduce ms.marvel & the masters of evil being the villains.
lord22 - 3/29/2012, 6:57 AM
@froggy

i don't know i would love a new hulk movie with mark ruffalo
MassExecutions - 3/29/2012, 6:59 AM
If they're not going to have any more Hulk solo movies, the should have the Leader and Abomination come back in an Avengers film and make it like the Gamma World episodes of the Avengers animated series. Those were great.

That being said, I think Hulk is going to be so great in The Avengers that he is going to get another solo movie.
TheHitchhikingGhost - 3/29/2012, 6:59 AM
Read all of em. Only 99 cents on the Marvel app. A lot fo fun seeing the movies told from different perspectives and seeing Black Widow show up at the campus where Hulk flipped out/etc. Very cool.
TheHitchhikingGhost - 3/29/2012, 7:00 AM
I agree with MassExecutions (lol). I was thinking that Hulk will get a lot of love from Avengers and it will steamroll into another solo film that will hopefully/finally be the first financially viable one made.
SuperFrost - 3/29/2012, 7:01 AM
Independent Hulk movie would be great!
RunDTC - 3/29/2012, 7:01 AM
I would really like to see another Hulk movie, especially if they bring back the rest of the cast (Tyler, Hurt, Roth, Nelson, Burrell, etc.). Doc Samson, Rick Jones (Justin Long anyone?) and Rulk would be awesome additions to the MCU.
ROBBEATZZZ - 3/29/2012, 7:03 AM
@ Mark Julian...dude!! your the man!!..i been preaching to ppl to read this..i have all chapters on my phone..and was trying to figure out how to share it

if you post the rest of it..im sure it will blow ppl away..very revealing ending!!
Orphix - 3/29/2012, 7:03 AM
I did wonder about 'the masters of evil' storyline when Whedon said that he would like to make Avengers 2 more personal - as opposed to large scale epic.

If The Avengers is 'The Dirty Dozen' then Avengers 2 could be a little bit like 'Silverado'. Everyone getting a personal battle rather than being in an all out global conflict.

Of course it does depend alot on what films they concentrate on inbetween avengers 1 & 2.

Fogs - 3/29/2012, 7:04 AM
@ggoblin31 - been reading it too, makes some nice connections between the stories. And if you know some of the spoilers from that Avengers Storybooks you also have subtle references to some things that are going to happen.
Fogs - 3/29/2012, 7:08 AM
**Storybook
ROBBEATZZZ - 3/29/2012, 7:10 AM
@Orphix..i can def see that..to bad mick wont be back as whiplash!!

**spoiler***

@Orphix..did you peep project P.E.G.A.S.U.S is where Selvag is working on the cosmic cube?

hawkeye is stationed there by Fury..did you see the cube in that circular contraption near the platform where we seen loki appear in those screen shots?

i think this is def where he continues to mind control selvage and they get the cube to work..loki takes advantage the moment they get it to open up a portal
goldenavenger77 - 3/29/2012, 7:11 AM
Son of Coul isn't that cool in the films.
xfan320 - 3/29/2012, 7:11 AM
Love it! When they teased the Leader in TIH I about crapped my pants! Tim Blake Nelson would've been an awesome leader. He was pretty creepy in TIH.

Personally, I always thought they mightve brought in the Leader to team up with Loki in the Avengers.. y'know, to control the hulk and abomination.. plus, he was pretty cool in A:EMH too.

I consider the Leader to be the Hulks best villain IMO
cconnolly12 - 3/29/2012, 7:14 AM
I kinda like that the Leader (Mr. Blue) is naked. Not enough naked villians these days.
ralfinader - 3/29/2012, 7:19 AM
This is getting purchased by me this weekend.

A Hulk solo movie could happen again, very easily if the Avengers and the upcoming TV show are hits.

@Froggy- One good thing about CBM's is the charactors are usually more well known and famous than the actors portraying them. Of course, big names help attract more ticket sales, but as the original Superman proved so long ago, sometimes the charactor and movie can make a relatively unknown actor a world reknown star.
Jolt17 - 3/29/2012, 7:20 AM
Too bad the page featuring Sterns doesn't show much, would really love to see a design for a live-action version of The Leader. (I've been so curious about it since 2008.)
ROBBEATZZZ - 3/29/2012, 7:24 AM
@Avalanche731..dude i wish i could...i have them all on my phone and cant figure out how to share them all...

only way is to have the actual physical form books
ROBBEATZZZ - 3/29/2012, 7:25 AM
@Jolt17...yea in chapter 7 blackwidow finds him
ROBBEATZZZ - 3/29/2012, 7:27 AM
a must read!!

***spoiler**

they find Steve a year after the events of im2.. thor n hulk
Orphix - 3/29/2012, 7:30 AM
@ROBBEATZZZ

Yeah - too bad about Mickey. Though, to be fair to him, I did think his character got shafted in IM2 as well. :o)

SPOILER:

Yes - Hawkeye and Selvig are working at PEGASUS (which is based in Mojave) so I expect big scenes there in The Avengers. Also seeing as Black Widow is seen taking down Hawkeye in the avengers trailer I might guess he gets effected by Loki too - or at least there is some confusion caused by Loki.

Quick geek note - when Stark opens up the boxes in IM2 that has the gear in to make his cyclotronic-element maker - they have the word PEGASUS stenciled on them.
Orphix - 3/29/2012, 7:33 AM
Oh - and anyone who wants to see how Fury's Big Week mixes in with the events of the films check out my timeline ;o)))

DudeLove721 - 3/29/2012, 7:40 AM
Saying Ruffalo couldn't carry a Hulk movie doesn't make sense to me. Thor starred an unknown in the title role and Chris Evans wasn't a major star before Captain America either -- both movies did more than alright. Besides, I thought the Hulk reboot was considered a success even though it didn't set the world on fire at the box office?
OmanTortuga - 3/29/2012, 7:40 AM
Marvel announced around ComicCon last year that they are in the process of doing a live action Hulk show that will line up with all the Marvel movies. As well as 2 other live action tv shows, one of them being Punnisher but fox has taken over on that and they are changing things around like they always do :( .... I wonder if Ruffalo will be Bruce for the Hulk tv show.
Kayo - 3/29/2012, 7:45 AM
Hulk 2 could be happening after The Avengers..............and bring The Leader
ROBBEATZZZ - 3/29/2012, 7:46 AM
@Orphix..i agree...he totally got the short end..:(

**spoiler***

man..that is gonna be sick!..so widow is undercover in asia..where she got caught..her phone rings..its coulson..she kick ass to get away and continue her coversation..do you think she is summoned to stop brainwashed Hawkeye?..or to recruit Banner?

Quick geek note- yes i remember that..lots of ppl missed that egg...i had to pause it to make sure thats what it said..lol..Fury was def trying to put Tony on the right track...

another important thing..steve is actually found a year after the events of im2..thor..n hulk right?..thats how i understood it.

ROBBEATZZZ - 3/29/2012, 7:48 AM
@Avalanche731...thanks dude i'll look into that
Ha1frican - 3/29/2012, 7:55 AM
I think to make the whole shared universe thing more viable they should cross pollinate villains. Would love to see Cap against the leader. Hulk against a creature from asgard or something. Thor against Baron Zemo and Arnim Zola. It would be a Convincing way to keep the shared universe so after avengers they don't just stop helping one another.
Ha1frican - 3/29/2012, 7:59 AM
Also I want another Hulk Letterier film. Everyone in that was great, and despite transplanting Norton with Ruffalo I still wanna keep as much of the continuity the same as possible. And cmon let's be honest after avengers people are gona be clamoring fo more Hulk so we will see him in some fashion. Could even be that del toro tv show, although I would MUCH prefer films
Orphix - 3/29/2012, 8:01 AM
@ROBBEATZZZ

yep - thats how I read it too with regards to how Cap is found.

It always bugs me that SHIELD have always been looking for him. I always thought it was much more 'mythic' and makes him much more of a 'legend' if he was just found by accident!

Everyone should believe he is dead.

As for reading these comics in the UK I just used Comixology. If you have a visa card you should be okay.
HandsomeDean - 3/29/2012, 8:01 AM
Marvel should defo make a hulk sequel, they could have General Ross use the leader to turn him into the red hulk, he could be pissed off that the guy he has been chasing for years is now basically on his side by working for big nick, could have at least 2 epic fights, Red hulk taking down abomination, then a big Hulk-off at the end, it would be sexual, just my thoughts tho :D
Ha1frican - 3/29/2012, 8:04 AM
And on the topic of Tv shows tha would be a good way for marvel to do Blade and Punisher now bthat they have the rights. Shared univers like Ultimate Spiderman but not on film. Could even do cross overs between blade ad Punisher then...
mrHJK - 3/29/2012, 8:08 AM
Masters of Evil for The Avengers 2:
*Baron Zemo (set up in SHIELD movie where Hydra are villains with small cameo)
*Enchantress & Executioner (villains of Thor 2)
*Abomination (seen in The Incredible Hulk)
*Ultron (minor villain of the Ant-Man film, created by Pym, used by main villain Egghead; in a twist, turns out to be the main villain of The Avengers 2 with an army of Ultrons, the MoE are forced to follow his will)
Radioactive Man
and maybe a new version of Crimson Dynamo

with
*Black Widow (traitor)
*Hank Pym (expelled from The Avengers)

The story should draw some elements from classic Masters of Evil stories (especially for Zemo & Ultron) and The Ultimates 2 (for Black Widow, Hank Pym's involvement)

While I'm on it, The Avengers line up should be:
*Captain America
*Thor
*Hulk
Iron Man
*Wasp (from Ant-Man film)
*Giant Man (from Ant-Man film, becomes Giant Man in this film, expelled from The Avengers for betraying the team)
Black Panther (from Black Panther film)
*Vision (created by Ultron in The Avengers 2, turns against his creator)

with SHIELD members:
*Hawkeye
Falcon (from SHIELD movie)
War Machine (a part of Fury's special team in SHIELD movie)
Mockingbird (from SHIELD movie* if TV show doesn't happen)
+ others

* indicates major story focus
Ha1frican - 3/29/2012, 8:08 AM
@HandsomeDean you had me till sexual... Lol The red hulk idea would actually work great. And then if they applied the new Hulk facial recognition and did that to the actor who played Ross in TIH. Aww man that would be so much win.
avengersfan85 - 3/29/2012, 8:10 AM
Whatever happened to Abomination? I was kinda hoping they'd show where he is now.
Ha1frican - 3/29/2012, 8:12 AM
@mrhjk wow I never thought of using War machine in a SHiELD tie- in but that would be brilliant. He is a military man so it make sense that he could be contracted by SHIELD it gives him his own film away from Iron Man to be developed but takes the pressure off of it being all about him. Now if they just added in a plot line about hunting the punisher 9which they now have the rights to) that could be one damn god movie
HandsomeDean - 3/29/2012, 8:13 AM
@Ha1frican Word!
