Final Mondo Poster For THE AVENGERS Is Simply Awesome!

We've seen individual Mondo posters for the whole team but they've saved the best for last in my opinion. The final poster in the series 'assembles' The Avengers, Loki, S.H.I.E.L.D., the Chitauri and the Quinjet into an awesome collage.

Tomorrow we will be releasing the final poster in our THE AVENGERS poster series. The final design is by none other than Tyler Stout! The film opens tomorrow and it is AMAZING. We got a chance to check it out early and can't recommend it enough. Thanks a ton to Marvel for making this series happen!

The Avengers is an upcoming American superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. It is the sixth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is written and directed by Joss Whedon and features an ensemble cast, which includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson. In The Avengers, Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organization S.H.I.E.L.D., recruits Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America to save the world from destruction.

Development of The Avengers began when Marvel Studios received a grant from Merrill Lynch in April 2005. After the success of the film Iron Man in May 2008, Marvel announced that The Avengers would be released in July 2011. With the signing of Scarlett Johansson in March 2009, the film was pushed back for a 2012 release. Whedon was brought on board in April 2010 and rewrote the screenplay that was originally written by Zak Penn. Production began in April 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, before moving to Cleveland, Ohio in August 2011 and New York City in September 2011. The film was converted to 3D in post-production.

The Avengers is scheduled for release on May 4, 2012 in the United States in 2D and 3D.

Agree with @ocean, I don't know why all the hype, that's not even that good-looking.

I prefer the traditional posters, those are what I'd like to hang on my wall. Not some limited edition poster that everyone wants for this reason alone.

I just came from the theater after seeing The Avengers, first of all I would like to say Wow! the movie was totally amazing and epic. Loki really made The Hulk angry, i can not describe how much i love this movie. It is clearly the biggest blockbuster of all time, and the Chitauri Army were amazing in action. But let's just face it, Whedon wants the sequel to be smaller than the first one, i don't know where he will be taking it.

This is the best one. Detail is everywhere in this picture. Iconic action poses as well as heroic facial profiles all tied into the logo. Minus the leviathan which isnt a recast-able character, everything about the movie is there: the villains, the heroes, shield and the Quinjet. Not to mention that the ONLY colors used in the poster are the colors that our heroes sport. Its a smart poster if your smart enough to see it. Props to the artist, there is some real artistic talent there.
