Joe Carnahan teased the progress he and his brother are making on the script for the adaptation of Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's Nemesis.

Nick Fury, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Hulk and Captain America reunited at the 85th Academy Awards.

Crazy rumor alert. Paul Rudd was seen joking around backstage of the Oscars with Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo prompting this rumor from the Associated Press that he's the latest addition to the team. Rudd has been mentioned by Ant-Man director Edgar Wright previously.

E! caught up with Amy Adams on the Oscar red carpet and briefly talked about her inspiration for Lois Lane in Man of Steel.
""I think it's always important to pay attention to the people who went before you to take what works for the film you are doing but to add a modern touch. Margot Kidder was my Lois Lane so I'll always think of her."

JatevinM - 2/24/2013, 11:00 PM
Or you know maybe they could just be friends as actors tend to be
Jollem - 2/24/2013, 11:04 PM

hmm paul rudd.. love the guy.. i dont even care if he's antman or not
IronManny819 - 2/24/2013, 11:10 PM
Man, I'd love Paul Rudd to play a superhero. Especially an Avenger. Though, wouldn't he be more fitting for Scott Lang, than Hank Pym?
AC1 - 2/24/2013, 11:11 PM
If they're going down the comedy route with Ant-Man, then yeah Paul Rudd seems like a solid choice. I've never seen him act dramatically though so I don't know how he'd do if the film wasn't a comedy.
TheSuperguy - 2/24/2013, 11:19 PM
Rudd as Ant-Man? That sounds alright to me...
ahhmynuts - 2/24/2013, 11:20 PM
idk about rudd as ant-man. rather have an unknown than him. people might not take this movie seriously if they see the comedy guy is starring in it.
CoulsonLives - 2/24/2013, 11:20 PM
He needs to dye his hair blond if it is true!
95 - 2/24/2013, 11:21 PM
Ant-Man is even more interesting now.
Jollem - 2/24/2013, 11:24 PM
rudd's got a wide range. he's pretty solid
WYLEEJAY - 2/24/2013, 11:24 PM
Scott lang anyone? How funny is this movie gonna be? Cause this guys hilarious.
CarlXVIGarfield - 2/24/2013, 11:50 PM
Jesus, this weekend I've seen Our Idiot Brother and I Love You, Man, thinking Paul Rudd deserves more attention.

Ant-Man and perhaps Giant-Man for Avengers 2/3? There you go!
mgeoff88 - 2/25/2013, 12:49 AM
Paul Rudd as Hank Pym/Ant-Man? Huh...

Maybe this could work... Ant-Man is supposed to be a secret agent in Edgar Wright's take on the character:

;P

@Jollem Hey, Pistol Pete! :P

And I agree, Paul Rudd does have good range.
SpoonWielder - 2/25/2013, 12:58 AM
I would love Paul Rudd as Ant-Man that would be actually great casting.

@ACira
Paul Rudd is actually a pretty good dramatic actor. Well, he's pretty good at playing the straight man, as much as he is good at playing the goof ball. Check out the Cider House Rules and the Great Gatsby. Not the new one the TV movie made in 2000. And although it probably doesn't count for much, he had a few good dramatic scenes during his stint on FRIENDS.
MrNikauL - 2/25/2013, 1:48 AM
I can actually see him as Ant-Man as for Amy Adams she annoys me for some reason.
thetrojan - 2/25/2013, 2:05 AM
I can see it
Jollem - 2/25/2013, 2:16 AM
i would be completely fine with seeing this on screen...

EarOne - 2/25/2013, 2:37 AM
can't wait for Nemesis the movie.

Paul Rudd as Hank Pym...BRING IT ON.
who knows THIS might be his MOST dramatic role ever.

the avengers reunion at the oscars..well, it coulda been better, with the back-and-forth banters they're putting on, they should've stayed on the group shot, instead of the awkward two shot of sam jackson and (too serious) jeremy renner, while the rest are talking too. but at least, it shows a good gesture by the academy, despite its lack of nomination for the movie, which i think SHOULD have gotten a best picture nod.
Orphix - 2/25/2013, 3:38 AM
Okay - I'm calling it, I am pinning my colours to the mast and I reckon Rafe Spall is gonna get the role.

There - I said it! I expect much ridicule!!!

CCB1984 - 2/25/2013, 5:31 AM
this "rumor" about Ant-Man is really really really weak.. Paul Rudd talks to cast members and it's now a rumor? beyond weak, the same could be said of every damn actor/actress that spoke to them.. lol Harvey Weinstein is playing Ant-Man cause he talked with Sam Jackson.. there's another rumor for you!
OrgasmicPotatoe - 2/25/2013, 6:16 AM
Okay people, stop with the Ant-Man rumor... He was only having fun with them, we don't know one word these guys exchanged last night, the fact that they're hanging out together doesn't mean he'll be Ant-Man.

Don't get your hopes too high, if you do, you'll only end up bitching about how the movie sucked.
Durango95 - 2/25/2013, 10:49 AM
Hmmm. Paul Rudd? Nice.
