New BEWARE THE BATMAN Promo Poster

Set to debut this summer on Cartoon Network's DC Nation programming block, here's a new promotional poster for Beware the Batman. Now, now...remember what you all said about Green Lantern: TAS when that series was first announced?

Preview images and clips for the last episodes of Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series are now up. One show moving into that vacated airspace will be Beware The Batman. Anthony Ruivivar (Third Watch, Banshee) will voice Batman, Sumalee Montano (Transformers Prime) will handle voice duties for Katana and J. B. Blanc ( The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Blade anime series) will do the same for Alfred. Set to premiere this summer on Cartoon Network's DC Nation Block, here's a new promotional poster.

Beware the Batman Promotional Poster


A cool, new take on the classic Dark Knight franchise, Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogues gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordstress Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld led by the likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie. Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, this action-packed detective thriller deftly redefines what we have come to know as a “Batman show.” Featuring cutting-edge CGI visuals to match the intricate twists and turns of the narrative, Batman steps out of the shadows and into the spotlight for an entirely new generation of fans. With WBA’s Sam Register executive producing, and Batman Beyond’s Glen Murakami and Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated’s Mitch Watson producing, Beware the Batman, based on characters from DC Comics, is coming soon to Cartoon Network!

it should read " a new take on a played out idea, that keeps getting worst visually and story wise, but you'll watch it. You'll complain and still watch it. No one will like this new show, but we'll keep it on tv for at least 4 years. Remember Robin? well now hes an Asian girl with a sword. Alfred? hes back, with guns. Featuring cutting-edge CGI visuals that wont look as good as GREEN LANTERN, cuz we'll only be using BLACK, BROWN, and GREY colors. Coming 2013!" god i hate cartoon network.

I didn't like Young Justice too much, but that Batman was BADASS. I'd much rather see a show about the YJ Batman than this bulky trash.

I'm with ToDandy this series looks like it's shaping up to be worse than the ill fated "The Batman" show. You can tell just by looking at the crappy animation style and the shitty promotion crap that this series is basically a series of cost cutting measures strung together. If DC is going to retain Animation Dominance over Marvel now that it's been bought out by Disney they need to step it up.

For everyone who says the art work/style looks like crap.. FIRST I'm impressed you can tell so much from 23 seconds! Second its the same style they used on Green Lantern Animated!
With Man Of Steel movie coming this summer.. we should get a new Superman toon next year.

Actually, the show has revealed that classic Batman villains will appear but won't be the focus at least no initially.
