But this isn't Logan's first trip to the Land of the Rising Sun or his first encounter with the Yashida clan. Based on a screenplay by Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects, Valkyrie) and Mark Bomback (Live Free or Die Hard, Total Recall )and the comic book by Frank Miller and Chris Claremont.

RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 3/15/2013, 12:00 PM
I didn't know the Shredder was in this...

I kid, I kid. I think this movie is going to be amazing. I knew Origins was going to be shit, but this one it actually looks like everyone else besides Hugh cares about the product.
AsianVersionOfET - 3/15/2013, 12:00 PM
As long as it's good AND it's a hard PG-13, then that's cool.
White - 3/15/2013, 12:00 PM
I care if it's R or not.
NoJobBOB - 3/15/2013, 12:01 PM
Does Wolverine just wear a formal suit and tie the whole [frick]ing movie?

This is not the suit everyones wanting.
DanteSparda - 3/15/2013, 12:01 PM
It's Wolverine going to sing dancing in the rain? LOL

I want the trailer NOW!
2013venjix - 3/15/2013, 12:02 PM
blood-stained claws? R-Rating? Now we're getting somewhere!!
RorMachine - 3/15/2013, 12:03 PM
lol, it's not gonna be R! Prob get a hard pg-13 though. Anyway, I can't wait to see this.
BatsFan - 3/15/2013, 12:05 PM
If they push PG-13 to the max, it can still be violant, True Grit is PG-13 and you see a guy's fingers getting cut and then he's shot point blank in the face.
Marauder - 3/15/2013, 12:05 PM
I'm not trying to offend anyone, but this reminds me of Batman Begins so far, but the film (I hope) will be different.
StrangerX - 3/15/2013, 12:07 PM
I want to see a wolverine with somewhat of a uniform
Nomis - 3/15/2013, 12:10 PM
Uh...No Hugh...This is the BadA$$ Wolverine everyone wants to see...

SuspenseSmith - 3/15/2013, 12:16 PM
I'm for one the most easy to please when it comes to Wolverine. I know that it was full of flaws, but even Origins entertained me enough. I'd say 20% of that movie was good, which made sitting through 60% of mediocre film and 20% of shit worth it. Although all the good parts are in the first half hour. I just turn it off after he gets his adamantium pretty much.

X3 just sucked all around though.

So for people wanting the yellow spandex feral beast 100% true adaptation, I hear you but I think Jackman's wolverine is just as good. I can't sympathize with you.

marvel72 - 3/15/2013, 12:18 PM
blood on the claws is always a good sign.
AlexDeLarge87 - 3/15/2013, 12:20 PM
It better be good!
Giznad - 3/15/2013, 12:22 PM
@Nomis, I love Mark's artwork, but doesn't that pic have too much gloss over it? I don't think that's the original. The original cover was a little bit better. It's still a classic pic though.
JoeInTheBox - 3/15/2013, 12:26 PM
...is that a samurai floating torso???
QuanZen - 3/15/2013, 12:28 PM
I think is a film camera with water proofing on it...
GAH - 3/15/2013, 12:29 PM
Can we get a trailer already?

Please?
Nomis - 3/15/2013, 12:30 PM
@ Giznad - Not sure. I think someone may have altered it in photoshop or something. Still cool looking though.
MrMartianManhunter - 3/15/2013, 12:30 PM
Blood doesn't mean anything.
TheOneAboveAll - 3/15/2013, 12:31 PM
@SuspenseSmith what X3 had going for it, was iced up Iceman, Frasier as BEAST, and Colossus
highflyer - 3/15/2013, 12:32 PM
I'm so excited!!!
PapaMidnight - 3/15/2013, 12:32 PM
Wow, people trying to rejoice over a tiny little blood stain in his claws. He's [frick]ing Wolverine, he's supposed to be covered in [frick]ing blood!!!
MrChuff - 3/15/2013, 12:32 PM
Photo 1 = As someone else has already pointed out - Wolverine and a camera with waterproof covering. NOT Silver Samurai.

Photo 2 = Not blood. It's a reflection of the wooden pillar he is stood next to (as seen in other behind-the-scenes pix). I hope I'm wrong though....

JoeInTheBox - 3/15/2013, 12:34 PM
@QuanZen ...alas my hopes of seeing a samurai floating torso are dead
sinsear912 - 3/15/2013, 12:34 PM
Who is gonna take a man serious in yellow spandex. Just except that wolverines costume will never translate to film
SuspenseSmith - 3/15/2013, 12:34 PM
@TheOne

True. But is wasn't enough to make it enjoyable.
Spidey31 - 3/15/2013, 12:38 PM
Who knows this might suprise a lot of people but arfonshky directing would've owned god damn
thewolfx - 3/15/2013, 12:40 PM
Holy shiiiit blood on his claws!

Looks like hollywood finally read up on wolverine
TheSoulEater - 3/15/2013, 12:40 PM
NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINJAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SuspenseSmith - 3/15/2013, 12:45 PM
@Spidey31

But Mangold is a pretty damn good director too.
DanteSparda - 3/15/2013, 12:46 PM

I want the trailer NOW!
Natetrix79 - 3/15/2013, 12:47 PM
I've never seen a movie this close to opening with no trailer, not even a Superbowl teaser??? This is either the greatest movie ever or it's just as bad as Origins!if there isn't one commercial during March Madness then I'm gonna be worried!!!
NightAvenger - 3/15/2013, 12:50 PM
A yellow suit isn't going to change the bad ass factor.
HipsterAngelusNY - 3/15/2013, 12:52 PM
everybody complaining about wanting the yellow costume...do you realize how stupid that would look on the screen......we need a trailer like asapp
arsonjack - 3/15/2013, 12:59 PM
looks epic
Tony93 - 3/15/2013, 1:01 PM
they can translate the suit to film if they just configure it a little bit.
there's always a way
Scabsallover - 3/15/2013, 1:02 PM
I don't think the black and brown would look stupid
Tony93 - 3/15/2013, 1:03 PM
if they make it similar to the comics but better for the film then it would look bad-ass.
since Samarai's are all about donning armor for combat,
I wont rule out the possibility of him not wearing some kind of suit. lets just hope its reminiscent somewhat to the comics
Scabsallover - 3/15/2013, 1:03 PM
The problem is working it into the story in a believable way
DanteSparda - 3/15/2013, 1:04 PM
@Scabsallover

Or the X-Force suit, that would actually fit pretty well in the movie because of all the stealth action.
Tony93 - 3/15/2013, 1:05 PM
it probably wont be yellow, but it could be some kind of dark golden samarai armor he wears to fight in, I can see it happening
ATrueHero1987 - 3/15/2013, 1:05 PM
@Tony93 They basically made the yellow/blue suit work in X-Men: FC.
Ocelot - 3/15/2013, 1:10 PM
it's time for people to get over the traditional yellow suit, it will never happen on the big screen at it would look ridiculous. The Suit's not intergral to the character like his claws are, so it's not needed. even if they radically changed it, you boys would still moan and probably say it's not faithful to the comics
sKeemAn - 3/15/2013, 1:13 PM
Dammit I want a trailer.
dbperez54 - 3/15/2013, 1:14 PM
Nice. He kind of looks like victor creed in the first photo!
