Marvel Studios Clash With THE AVENGERS 2 Stars Over Money; Cast Threatening To Quit?
Lately, it seems like every story that filters through my news feed about Marvel Studios harkens back to this original post from Deadline. Talks of recasting amid contentious contract negotiations has sparked debate about whether the actors made the roles or the roles made the actors. An interesting debate as every lead actor in a Marvel Studios film was far from being the Hollywood heavyweight they are today at the time of their initial casting.

BLADE, MS. MARVEL And Other Films In Development At Marvel Studios Writing Program
Various sites took the off-the-cuff quote in an article from The Hollywood Reporter as confirmation that these films are recent developments from Marvel Studios. That's not the case, the majority of these projects have been in development limbo for years and Kevin Feige has outright said a few of those scripts will never turn into anything more than words on paper. Still it's fun to speculate I suppose as the story spread across the internet like wildfire.

Henry Cavill On Christopher Nolan's Involvement With MAN OF STEEL
In an in-depth spread for F*** Magazine, Henry Cavill dives in deep on Superman and Man of Steel and assures readers that the reboot is definitely a Zack Snyder film and less so Christopher Nolan's.

Robert Redford Spoils CAPTAIN AMERICA 2 Role Detail; Anthony Mackie’s ‘Falcon’ In 60% of Movie
If you thought the name of Robert Redford's character in Captain America: The Winter Soldier was a clue about the film, a slip by the veteran actor basically takes those presumptions, douses them with gasoline and sets them on fire.

It's Official! AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Ordered To Series By ABC; First Image And Logo Released
It seemed like a forgone conclusion but repeated false confirmations over a 72-hr period had folks on edge. However, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is officially a 'Go' and we should be getting our first glimpse of the new Fall ABC series this Sunday during the season finale of Once Upon A Time. I'm hearing rumors that the show is likely headed for a Thursday 8PM prime-time slot.

It would be a great shame if the continuity in the MCU fell apart or was tarnished through a recasting of the actors because of their greed and their agent's contract negotiations.

1. RDJs checks have been inflated due to his excellent negotiations during IM1 but its unfair to Evans and Hemsworth who headline movies that the fans love. Pay the actors a fair price for these blockbusters. Disappointed in you Marvel/Disney.

2.Black Panther movie please also Antman/ Giantman and Dr Strange

3. Nolan will add depth to the movie that Snyder couldnt fathom, Epic combination of Director and Producer unlike TMNT

4. I still want Redford to play the original Nick Fury or at least Zemo

5. Thats what im talking about just keep ongoing plotlines and dont be another CSI or NYPD blue.

i'm sure the MONSTROUS success of The Avengers prompt some of the lead actors to balk, especially when they learned just how much MORE money their senior co-star, RDJ, made outta that movie alone. sure, at first glimpse, many would probably say, "marvel, stop being CHEAP..and with disney's backing..PAY UP."

but..yeah, what about those multi-picture deal..?? remember those actors DID sign them, on their own, after all. NOBODY put a gun to their heads for their signatures, a la Don Vito with the band leader. So, why don't they just man up and fulfill their contracts and RE-negotiate once that contract's done. i guess..that's NOT they way things are done in hollywood, anymore. but, if that's the case, what's the point in ANY contract, then...??

i hope, there WON'T be anymore recasting..at least, not during the phase two. don't much care bout the phase 3..too far from now.

This "pay me more" crap is so stupid. They are upset because Avengers made so much money, but if Avengers bombed, Marvel/Disney wouldn't pay those actors any less. RDJ is the only one that had a contract that was based on the success of the film, so they all need to be thankful that Marvel saved/created their careers and stop bitching about money.
